Our Anniversary Update is coming this month, and the first thing we can reveal is some favorite TFOs returning. Both Battle at the Binary Stars and The Mycelial Realm will join the regular rotation, with Advanced and Elite versions!
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

Well, now with Mycellium back we will have a good source of Kill Captains for Endeavors.

I wonder if, in the future, when actors can't be brought in to do original VO, if clips from the TV episodes are going to be used instead?
They have already done this with Sisko in Victory is Life, and most of the TOS cast in Agents of Yesterday.
I'll have to go through the TOS Starfleet tutorial again, but Spock's lines were from the VO work Leonard Nimoy had done for STO, Walter Keonig had done VO work for it, and Chris Doohan substituted his late father. There was a small line of 'We were in Starfleet Academy together' (probably from the episode where the crew of the Enterprise picked up 'Space Hippies'), considering Walter sounds a lot more different than he did in his twenties. But most of his lines was new.
So I'd hardly say it was most of the cast.
As for Sisko, it's cobbled together and very short. Considering fees and all, it would have been more expensive for STO to use even voice clips from 'Captains'. I was surprised that they did use his voice for the Kira/Kai Opaka blurb, mind you.
I'll admit, I like when they initially release since usually Cryptic allows them to give various marks with daily bonuses. After that I just don't, usually, play rinse-repeat with them. I hadn't even realized Cryptic had pulled these from the line-up. I did enjoy both of these when I played them & like it when Cryptic offers a Space & a Ground, depending upon the ground, but if they don't have the mark bonus I'll probably just play each one once unless useful for an Endeavor.

Because "Home" was too difficult?
Dyson BZ is my preferred choice, Home is not all that difficult.
It can be a pain at times but bring on the hordes
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."
-Lord Commander Solar Macharius
After putting up with "Computer, freeze program." for the umpteenth time, I was pretty much done with Binary Stars forever. Can you at least put all the droning exposition at the beginning, and cut that nonsense out?
Not difficult at all. I use 'Home' for Killing H'urq ships and then out quick.
