Sure, crystal clear if you scroll and read past the linked button. If you just press that link good luck figuring out what you're paying for what with the vagueness.
federation starter pack alone that's at least $50 worth of stuff they're giving you when you math everything out. So folks are getting well more than $30 in value back for a donation.
Does that include the maths of sale discount of 25% off store items?
It's in plain black and white on the site what you're getting, what you're describing was simply user error to be perfectly blunt. And for the math of the pack, the packs they're meant to give things to you at a discounted rate to get you started. that pack itself may be selling for $20 but when you total out everything it gives you, you're looking at a value of 5850 zen roughly based on comparable items.
ship - 3000
inventory slots - 250
bank slots - 300
2 boff slots - 250
1 borg boff - 500
space gear - 500
ground gear - 500
academy uniform - 550
So that pack is saving you roughly 3850 zen. By donating to charity you're getting the pack and everything extra. So yes you are getting a deal. Perhaps not the degree of one you were hoping for but one you are indeed getting.
User error due to terrible page ad and page layout. Groupees was not only a better deal for Star Trek bundles but you knew what you were paying for (no linked buttons skipping past bundles directly to their purchase page and they were organised in their own separate pages with all items view able without scrolling through 30 different bundles) I was in-game yesterday saw in chat people as confused. Some even thinking like you this is a great deal for Star Trek pack and then pointing out to them that the same pack is in the zen store for considerable less.
Yes you're getting a good deal only if you want the other stuff in the bundle. Most people will just want the starter pack though if they play STO.

thx
questerius, I am aware of the redeem process, as stated by above poster I too had no problem with other charity codes such as the breast cancer but this one wanted to link my steam account, I would like to clarify my question, is there any other way to get this unlocked after purchase if steam fails. I would prefer arc but this seems to be a steam linked code. sorry to op not trying to hijack this post.
you should have received an email with the code that you plug into Arc
Heres a twist on the issue: Key says:Star Trek Online: Federation Elite Starter Pack, when Im in the services tab in store I get Elite services pack (no ship not faction specific) ....

That there is a whole different can of worms that am sure there are plenty of other posts about, switch from subscription to elite starter pack and then to elite service pack.. from a amazing deal to a bad deal in a year or so..
This post is about, I think, Humble Bundle "Yogscast Jingle Jam 2019" that includes "Star Trek Online: Federation Elite Starter Pack" that usually comes up under starter packs in zen store, yet code from this humble bundle sale comes up under promotions as "Federation Elite Starter Pack - Promotional" for some reason.

It comes up promotional because you got the Federation Elite Starter Pack from the Yogscast Jingle Jam 2019 promotion. It is self-explanatory even if it seems inconsistent.
