I think it will be interesting if you could change the alert status of your ship interiors i for one would enjoy walking through the ship interiors(especially the iconic ones like the bridge of the Enterprise and Enterprise-d).

The only thing this would do is add to RP. Would be cool, but not a lot of people actually use their ship interiors. One of the reasons we don't get them often unless they're special for lockbox ships (Generally only the Bridge itself) or tied to a mission that uses that interior (ala Beyond the Nexus and the ones set aboard USS Voyager).

I think it would be far more preferable if you could de-automate Red Alert. It's a pain in the rear when you need to get moving.
