TOS-era characters ended up in "modern" sector space

I also submitted a support ticket for this, and was directed to post here.
I have a character that started on the TOS faction track, who has not finished the Battle of Caleb IV mission. Last night I realized that she has been relocated to the 25c Beta Quadrant near the Sol System. I believe this was a result of playing the current Borg Red Alert and using the wrong Leave Map option, which apparently is an old existing bug. I know players stuck in the Tzenkethi battlezone have been relocated before, and I'm wondering if there's a way my character can be moved back to 23c space.
