Is this just PC, or will console get it too......asking for a friend
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
I hope the bug I ran into where none of my Jem'Hadar characters can access the Contact Duty Officer UIs (ship/shuttle, not part a Fleet, so I don't know if that would be affected in Fleet properties) nor the Shuttlecraft to Star Fleet Academy console is fixed for the Jem'Hadar recruits event.
(Also would be nice if they worked in unlockable Vorta player characters )
I find it odd that when it has been said elsewhere that the Temporal recruit rerun is too Fed centric, they run the Gamma recruit event again. How does this include KDF or Feds or Romulans? I just don't see a difference.
Ugh, I just started another Jem'Hadar character like a week ago...
However I already had three Gamma recruits from last year, and already unlocked everything I cared about, so maybe I'll skip this.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

[..] originally released for a limited time only along the Victory is Life expansion in 2019.
VIL was released in 2018.
I do hope you guys re-run Temporal again. It's the only recruitment event now to have never been rerun. I understand it's difficult to port it to the other factions, but the rewards in that are vastly superior and very important for those that missed it the first time. Perhaps at least port it DSC faction.
I hope Vorta are not part of the "soon-to-be-announced Dominion-themed additions to our Lifetime Subscription and Veteran Rewards", it would really be disappointing if they were locked behind the biggest (and completely unscalable by the average FtP player) paywall in the game. Founders would suit that much better since they are the ultimate top of the heap in the Dominion. If Vorta are not free, then they should at least be c-store unlocks like the Remans and Catians.
While the Romulans have the reputation for spy games the Vorta have them beat hands down in actual practice, and the game could use more of the espionage/dirty tricks style scenarios the Vorta are a natural for. And really, the dominion needs at least one leveling race to cement it as a demi-faction instead of just that gee-wiz cheap novelty feel the endgame-only meat-droids give it.
As for the Jem'Hadar, one gamma recruit is enough for me and a lot of the people in the chat channels since a second adds nothing to the account-wide benefits and for many the horneytoads are simply unplayable, whether it is because of the looks of the things, the fact that the Dominion is essentially gender-locked (rarely a popular thing in MMOs), the fact that in DS9 the Jem'Hadar would never be allowed to do the things they do in STO, or the inability of many players to get into their heads roleplay wise.
On the other hand, new people can at least get the cross-character benefits whether they can stand to play the things for long or not (and the bug is a rather fun little ship, even if ground is a total no-go). The one I have is one of the many in vacc suits that rarely leave DS9, I used to use it for space farming and some crafting (and a little bit of doff/admiralty/reputation stuff for the cross-character benefit breakpoints) since it had a big head start on those compared to my actually playable characters at the time. I haven't used it much since my other characters have mostly caught up and I may delete it after all of the transponder stuff that can be done without ground missions is done.
Nice that the recruit programs are being re-run. Glad newer players will get a shot at this. Though as others have said, what about a Temporal recruit re-run?
And I too look forward to seeing what things will be added to LTS benefits. Jem vet ship would be my guess at the very least and perhaps a small craft?
Hello. My name is iamynaught and I am an altaholic.
I want to make another Cardassian but getting all r&d to 20 takes too long and I'm still traumatized from getting all my other characters to t6 reputation. Still 5/6 on level 4 commendations from last recruit also, probably skip this one.

I'm of the same, seems like the majority, sentiment in liking this event reran. This is great & appreciated for players that have missed-out on the previous Gamma recruitment event.
So where's a 23rd century Temporal Agent recruitment event rerun??? Come on Cryptic try to help out players that missed-out on that event too. Having these recruitment events run like once a year or every two years can only help.
I think worse-case could be just rename the dang event, maybe expand it to all Fed characters, not just the 23rd century, or even open it up to all factions. If there are any goals to be completed within any specific 23rd century missions just have them auto-complete.
Cryptic never did do the Discovery recruitment event with proper acknowledgement & earned rewards so maybe relabel & stick the same rewards of the Temporal Agent recruitment for the new Discovery season or the new Picard series.
So I guess we won't be receiving another run for Temporal, doesn't really affect me though since I already have two (deleted a third) and completed it on one.

Um, that's exactly why they haven't rerun it yet. Sticking a new coat of paint on it isn't possible.
They said they didn't want to rerun recruitment events again unless all factions could benefit, and Temporal, in particular, is tightly coupled with the TOS fed faction, and changing it isn't trivial. Delta is not as bad to rerun, since it already integrates with all factions, except Jem. I suppose the LTS expansion is why they've made an exception to that statement now.
Worst cast, in this scenario is just re-runing it with TOS faction only. "Ok" case would be opening it up to at least all Fed factions (or DSC at least), and best case is opening to everyone.
"Best case" I doubt will ever happen, though the "Ok" case could. I imagine it's less work to port it to DSC and/or regular Fed than also port to Rom and KDF, though I could be wrong.
That said, I do agree with you that we need it re-run, as I mentioned earlier.
Since there will be more Gamma Recruits, will the Queue rewards have a progress bar to show how many queues we need to do and more importantly if a certain queue gives credit to getting the reward?
I find it odd that when it has been said elsewhere that the Temporal recruit rerun is too Fed centric, they run the Gamma recruit event again. How does this include KDF or Feds or Romulans? I just don't see a difference.

TOS rerun would be great yeah, and it's the only one that we didn't see a rerun of...
That's where I am too.
I am sitting on things now just in case they re-run the Temporal recruit event again so I can re-roll my current main as a full and proper AoY.
They never re-run it? I guess I am just wasting my time and stuff.
But I will not use some of the one-character only things that I have spent a great deal of time and/or money (real and in-game) to acquire on a character that I know right now is not everything that I want them to be. That I know can not be everything that I want them to be.
Someone wants to say it's my fault for not making the AoY I wanted when I had the chance? Okay, sure. And?
Anyone can make an AoY. The benefits they get for leveling an AoY can be applied to every toon on their account.
Already have the benefits? Great, then you don't need to be bothered with running the event again. Newer players can certainly use it as a way to 'catch them up' to the people that have run it, though.
And people like me? We'll be able to correct our mistakes and then I will be ready to start committing more resources to my main, whether that be using things that I have been saving up or buying new things.
I have pretty much zero interest in Gamma Recruit. I made one but that's about the extent of it.
I have leveled one Delta Recruit and the other two (other factions) I play only rarely.
But every event should be re-run periodically to give new players a chance to run them and older players chances to "make corrections".
Maybe once every 6 months-one year re-run all of the recruiting events (Gamma in October, Delta in April, Temporal in October, Gamma in April, etc *or* Every October you have an event, rotating through them).
And if you can convince CBS to let you, maybe add a Klingon and Romulan story to the Temporal Recruit stuff and introduce TOS-era Klingons and Romulans to the game.
It's their future, too.
They won't be doing KDF or Romulan TOS Recruits. That would mean producing a whole bunch of new Episodes with nothing to sell for them. Plus, Episodes are so yesterday, TFOs are the paridigm of the future.
I already ran all three Events and the Delta with all three (at the time) Factions. The TOS is the best of the lot. For the Delta, I believe I have the Klingon War Arc Account-wide Award to still unlock, all the rest are. Though some of the Characters for Delta may not have completed all their individual Awards.
For the Gamma Recruit, I scr*wed up and didn't realize until six weeks in that I created a regular Jem'Hadar Recruit and not a Vanguard Jem'Hadar Recruit. Additional Reputation to unlock from scratch, Crafting Schools not auto leveled and the like. And so far I only Account Unlocked one of the four Vanguard Ships.
Yeah, no. No new Characters for me unless we get an entirely new Recruiting Drive with the greatest rewards the game has ever seen.

Have the Gamma event AND the Temporal event at the same time. Let people have a choice!
That would've been a good idea imo since you don't need to complete all the goals in the allotted time-frame, just enough to get the particular event device then can complete as one sees fit.

So T6 Vet Ship, Shuttle & Spacesuit? Hoping the Vet Ship unlocks the Frigate pets for the Carriers/Dreads.
And I too look forward to seeing what things will be added to LTS benefits. Jem vet ship would be my guess at the very least and perhaps a small craft?
Losing faith in humanity, one person at a time.
Will we get these LTS things before the recruitment event ends?
I doubt we will get new species... but if we get a Liberated Borg Jem'Hadar, I'd like to create that character before the event ends.
