why has my account been blanked

I'm a Lifetime Member have been in an induced coma for 2 years and seems my account has been wiped. Last login was 2016 but all history of transactions and all my characters and all I have paid for gone. Support has offered no real assistance. Did anyone else have this done to them?

I've not heard of anyone's accounts being wiped for not playing for X period of time.

Me neither. People post regularly here about coming back after 1-3 years away and they haven't lost anything. I took almost 2 years off myself though it was between 2012 and 2014.

What people have had happen is they had multiple accounts where one owned a lot and the other was near-empty and they mixed up which is which.

Hopefully @darkbladejk can get them some help.

I don't know about here, but in CO if you're offline for over a year your account is placed in a sort of standby status; once you've logged back in, the account can be restored from backed-up data.

I don't think STO does that since none of the "I'm back, what's changed?" posts have ever mentioned it.
