Elachi Crescent Cannon, Disruptor or Polaron?

I have the Elachi Crescent Cannon and the popup description says they have a Polaron cannon attack and do Disruptor damage?
So which console should I use? Disruptor or Polaron?

I mostly use Polaron on science builds, Disruptor if I want to do damage. I never used Elachi weapons but they do have an appealing proc and would likely help Disruptor builds.
I stream on Twitch, look for Avoozl_

The wiki says they're disruptors, so disruptor consoles.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

Which cannon are you referring to? The attack console from the lockbox escort(s), the lobi cannon, or something else?

Elachi weapons have always been disruptor and boosted by disruptor synergies. I am curious where polaron is referenced, exactly.

If it's not the first damage listed, it might be an add-on from a console, trait, gear set, etc.

I am referring to the free cannons that you get as part of the current event. I guess it must be a typo on the popup.

Most likely as the elachi weapons have been disruptors as long as I can remember.

The soliton wave impeller from the T6 Risa Corvette has a similar issue where it states electrical damage, but also radiation damage. I'd guess in the impeller's case its a copy paste issue where they didn't delete or change the electrical damage text. The wiki actually seems to keep this weird typo for the impeller, but I didn't see it there for the Elachi weapons.
