There are two more unannounced live action Star Trek shows

Most live shows would be Starfleet Academy, mentioned but perhaps not officially announced, and of course the Pike series that folks begged for, and which got teased via Short Treks.
So that would mean we'd have these series in the same year:
Star Trek: Discovery Star Trek: Short Treks Star Trek: Picard Star Trek: Section 31 Star Trek: Lower Decks Star Trek: Nicklodeon (unknown name) Star Trek: Pike Star Trek: Starfleet Academy
Which with older shows
TOS TAS TNG DS9 VOY ENT
That would be 14 Star Trek series, CSI, NCIS, Star Wars, and Law & Order clusters of series can s*ck it! Star Trek for the win!
Actually there have been 7 Law and Order series (Star Trek already beats it if you count Short Treks), and 4 CSI series, and 3 NCIS series, for a total of 14 combined between them, which Star Trek would match by the time these last two series go on the air. Think on that and grow wise.
I'm hearing rumours that they already have the go ahead to star planning season 3 of Picard and that Season 4 of Discovery is basically green lit, although unofficial.
2 new live action shows, Discovery Season 3 and Lower Decks Season 1 will be ready by May, but its unknown which will be shown first (or if it will go on at the same time).
And they're guess was the same as mine, Pike and Starfleet Academy.

That was an absolutely goofy article and there is no evidence outside of a random 4chan rumour that Seth tried to buy Star Trek. And why would be doing this when all his stuff with NBC when all his stuff is with Disney now via Hulu, Family Guy, American Dad, Cleverland Show, the Orville, all of it was with Fox, before it was sold to Disney. Disney and McFarland going for Star Trek makes some sense, McFarland and NBC does not, Disney would flip out.
And the idea that Star Trek is doing badly based on rumours that do not compare favourable with facts.
Discovery did so well that it keeps getting renewed, season after season. Both Picard and Discovery broke records. CBS All Access has greatly expanded its subscriber base since Discovery became its flagship. Its investing massively, and I mean massively in Alex Kurtzman series, Section 31, Lower Decks, another animated series, and 2 more live series. If Star Trek was bombing this would not be happening.

There is also the issue of timing. It makes more sense for MacFarlane to try to purchase Star Trek after the first season of Discovery not when CBS plans on saturating us with Star Trek content.
I'm thinking you should stay away from totally unsourced click-bait.

Actually it made more sense for him to try to buy it before CBS made anything

True, but there is a reason why MacFarlane made The Orville when he wanted to make his version of Star Trek. Discovery and The Orville came out at the same time so he must have at least tried to do a Star Trek series.

Macfarlane doesnt seem like the type to try to buy something. Remember he was working on a Flintstones reboot. He didn’t buy the Flintstones but worked with the owners of the IP. I could see him wanting to revive Star Trek and CBS saying no...so he takes his ideas and makes The Orville. I dont see him trying to buy Star Trek and I don’t see CBS selling Star Trek.

If i were doing Picard, I would film season 2 and 3 as soon possible.
