When are they going to fix ques with the "data" from the randoms?

lexusk19lexusk19 Member Posts: 1,430 Arc User
Devs said over and over that they were going to use the data gleamed from the random TFO's to help them fix and improve old TFO's? So... When? Been quite a while now with no improvements the multitude of terrible missions in this game...

Would just like to know they are at least thinking about it. Rather then another hollow promise. Anyone heard anything?

When they feel they have enough data, not before.

That would mean never. Since, the queue fills what specific things people queue for. For example, you queue for Cure ground, not one of the more popular queues. But, if you wait long enough, it will fill it for you.

With this setup up, the majority of the data they're getting is on the more popular queues, that fill super fast. They aren't getting hardly any data from anything else.

So you know what Data Cryptic is getting? You had the full data reports and analysis? Please tell us more /s

Dont assume for a second you know what data and quantity Cryptic is getting. Nor assume how they are using that data.

I'm pretty sure the data they were hoping to get is a mess, 'cause of players queuing for RTFOs and being "aw, I hate this one" and quitting.

And you don't think they would have that data, too? :smirk:

It's probably most of the data for some TFOs

But seriously, some TFOs are pretty bad. So if y'all are demanding them to use player data to fix them, then don't leave when they pop in random.

Not assuming. I didn't say they weren't getting date from all the queues. Just that they're getting less from the least popular.

For example, right now, queuing up normal, you're going to get the Mushroom Kingdom, a lot. So, they're receiving massive amounts of data on it. But the other normal queues are kind of S.O.L. because of the event at the moment.

Then, if you queue for advanced, and if you pay attention, you'll notice that the majority of queues you get, are the more popular queues. Of course, you'll pick up the occasional less popular queue here and there.

Elite, I imagine are even worse in this manner. I don't play them even though I'm setup for them. The reward isn't worth the play time investment.

So, there is no need to assume what data they're getting. Just on playing and paying attention to what queues come up. One can logically deduce that they are getting massive amounts of data on things like ISA, and very little on things like the Nukara Ground queues. The Endeavor's are helping here, or should be.

But, to make an assumption based on this. I would assume that most players reroll the Nukara Ground TFO Endeavors when they come up, instead of playing them.

If I had to guess, I would say the fix will be coming on Neverember 32, 20019

The fix is coming. These changes take time to implement.

So when's the last time people queued en-masse for Rh'ihho station? Oh right.... Tuesday. Why? 'cause endeavors. And since it counts for RTFO a lot of the people who queued RTFO got it too.

Yeah when the devs want data on something that doesn't get run often they just make it an endeavor.

They're already suppose to be a part of the Endeavor system. I see them on occasion. Not as much as I see, "Defeat X amount of Y" or "Deal X amount of this energy type."

I'm still waiting to see if like The Vault, or Atmosphere Assault will popup in mine. I've seen the Nukara ground ones popup like once. Just seems like the TFO ones are the Ultra Rare personal endeavors.

Oh right, those two probably won't popup as Endeavors. They do run shuttle event weekends, after all. Can't forget about those.
