There may not be any patch notes, they posted them on Facebook or Reddit and not here (most likely explanation), or they will wait until the morning to post them (they have done this before).

I hope they do fix the missing body parts when Fed/Roms wear Fed uniforms though... as have been posted in the PC bug reports area.

It's shard mantenance, so no patch, just a reboot and a cleanup or something.

    General:

Fixed an issue where the tutorial tooltip already appeared for the new Event system before having access to it.
Fixed an issue where Tier 6 ships in the Shipyard were displaying incorrect information.
    Content:

In several patrol missions, the voice over has been updated or added.
Fixed an issue that could block progress on the Sentinels (Donatu system) patrol mission if objectives were completed in the wrong order.
Fixed an issue where the "Darkening Jungle" was sometimes referred to as the "Corrupted Wasteland" in the "Mycelium Realm" task force operation.
Fixed an issue that could block the progress in the episode "Empress Sela" after skipping a cutscene.
Fixed an issue that prevented other team members from entering the Holo-lab in the episode "Beneath the Skin".
    Systems:

Fixed an issue where the Kelvin Divergence Kit Frames would not be correctly Bound to Account when equipped.
Kit Frames that were already bound before this change will return to their unbound status.
Companions summoned via the Elachi Subspace Transceiver console will no longer block progress if they are present in certain sections of the episode "Beneath the Skin".
    Updates for Patrol Rewards:
Fixed an issue where Discovery patrols did not reward dilithium ore as a reward.
The first patrol you complete in one day now grants a one-time reward of 2x marks (per character). This only applies to patrols that can be accessed using the new interface.
Dilithium Ore Rewards for all patrols accessed through the new UI have been adjusted to receive 1000 Dilithium Ore on the first run of it every day. For all further patrols you will receive 500 Dilithium Ore that day.
Fixed an issue where some bridge options were missing on the Long Range Science Vessel Retrofit [T5-U]l
Fixed an issue where the passive effect of the Hull Image Refractors console would refresh its duration.
Fixed an issue where Altamid wide-angle weapons did not have the [Arc] modifier.
Fixed an issue where the markless version of the Altamid-modified swarm processor could not be equipped by low-level players.
Fixed an issue where some buffs on Exotic damage had no effect on the Delayed Overcharge Cascade.
Fixed an issue where the Delayed Overload Cascade could knock allies back.
Fixed an issue that caused the Swarmer Matrix console to mistakenly put the player into combat.
Deuterium Surplus should now be considered an option in R&D if the captain has completed "Defense Contract".
Deuterium Surplus stacks up to 20 like other devices.
    Known Issues:

The following Delta patrols are temporarily unavailable:
    Jarleth system Patrol
    Ocampan freighter Patrol
    Ram Izad system Patrol
    Tekara system Patrol
    Xiokel system Patrol

    Nice.

I was just saying that it would be nice if they stacked. Now, if only everything, including all devices, stacked to 999 or even 99, but baby steps.

Hope they 'Patrolerize' those five newly listed Delta Patrols quickly. Jarleth was my go to for destroying Borg Ships without a hassle.

oh yes, i DID notice that and i even predicted it wouldn't make it in this week

30 marks is better than 15, to be sure - but it STILL is not the daily bonus

especially given the way the note is worded makes it sound like that 2x multiplier only applies ONCE to the FIRST mark type you obtain per character per day, not once each mark type per character per day

Yeah, whats up with that, i mean, the daily bonus is the most practical thing ever!.. anyway, i just hope they put more marks in there if finally there is not going to be any bonus.

They are making these Patrols like the New Romulus Areas Main Missions. But there they get the Daily Mark Bonus for New Romulus Marks and the double for the first Mission Reward. Also it is 20 Marks per area.

But again, there is no 30 Minute cooldown for the Blue Moon Red Alerts.

    Daily Bonus Marks

'Daily Bonus Marks... Here’s how it will work:

Complete a task that would award reputation marks
Earn Daily Bonus Marks and the normal rewards for that task

It’s that simple. You can only earn Daily Bonus Marks for each reputation once per day though.'

Obviously being the primary source of marks isn't what they designed the patrols for. They appear to be set up to reward dil and sellables, with marks as an added bonus.

Yep. Extremely disappointing, to say the least. Also, they actually reduced the amount of dilithium down from 750 to 500. And no, the fact that the first one per day - per character - award 1000 does not make up for it.

Fixed an issue where Altamid wide-angle weapons did not have the [Arc] modifier.

Not only let they allow players to use multiple wide arc weapons of this type on the same ship for a week, they “fixed” the issue by now giving those guns *two* [Arc] mods. Better safe than sorry, hu? :D

QA limbo has really reached a new low in the latest release considering what other issues have not even been mentioned/acknowledged yet. Too bad players can’t be warned around here by those informed well enough not to waste their in-game resources or, what’s worse, RL money on broken stuff "soon" to be fixed to uselessness.

Also, remember that they stated that these revamped Patrols would be awarding Choice Marks for now until they decided what was appropriate to change them to in the future. The hammer may come down again.

The Daily Marks Bonus eligibility for these Patrols have changed from the original intent regardless of what anyone says and the fact that that was never pointed out in the SIX Announcement Blogs indicates that they did not want to tip their hand beforehand. It is either deliberate with initial cloaked intent or error that they don't want to admit to.

If the latter it is the same situation we had with the removal of Daily Marks Bonus eligibility from Weekend Marks Bonus. In that case it goes to the Developers using an older code base for the introduction of the Delta Reputation (Marks). Instead of using the Marks Pack self opening code they had already implemented for all other Reputation they used the retained Marks Pack (Inventory style).

They did not implement the self opening code for over a month afterwards. Because a Bonus Marks Weekend was coming up during the Winter Event they removed the Daily Bonus from eligibility (the potential disaster there was that people could get almost 1200 Weekend Bonus Marks just for the Daily Bonus Delta Reputation Marks Boxes).

The week after that Bonus Marks Weekend they implemented the self opening code which included all stored Marks boxes as well. So because of the improper code usage to begin with, an item that was earned on a daily basis DURING a Weekend Bonus Marks Event was no longer bonused.

    (emphasis added)

You contradicted yourself heavily here. You're right, it's a new game system and they're testing out the reward rates. So it literally can't be some kinda mess up or evil plan.

Just let it play out, see what the final adjustments are, and go with it.
  • legendarylycan#5411 legendarylycan Member Posts: 37,284 Arc User
no, he didn't contradict himself, because the first thing has nothing to do with the second

the first bit was about cryptic saying that patrols are awarding choices of marks until they get enough converted to cover every mark type currently available, NOT anything to do with the number awarded which is what the second part is about

Being open and cloaking intentions are the opposites I'm talking about.

Anyways, they will continue to tweak the reward payouts as new patrols come in, and as they get more played data. If you feel it's not rewarding enough for the time/effort, don't play the patrols.

A much simpler solution than crying that Cryptic is playing dirty.
  • ltminnsltminns Member Posts: 12,573 Arc User
Who said playing dirty? You did, not I. I stated that it was either an error on their part that they haven't wanted to admit to as of yet, or it was a change that they wanted to make but preferred not to be made known ahead of time.

Actually, thinking about it there could be a third alternative. That consistent with their sloppy proofreading they simply missed it.

True that. All 3 alternatives are equally valid.
