Power Siphon Drones

I posted something on reddit, but not sure it'll get answered there (as it's on a mega thread). I am building a drain build, and was wondering if the Power Siphon Drones are actually really good for drain builds? I mean, I get they are meant for draining, but I don't know how efficient their draining powers are.

elite ones used to be able to permanently shut down tactical cubes by themselves...then cryptic nerfed them - now they're TRIBBLE​​

I remember that. Such a waste. I used to do Vo'Quv Drain Builds.

They are also very fragile..
