Leveling a T6 ship?

Probably been asked but what is the fastest why to level a ship these days/ I haven't played in a while. So far i'm doing patrols and random PVE queues

    Argala, a patrol in the Delta Quadrant, taken to wave 4 out of 5 and then warping out is current most-used way. If you go back in after warping out, it should re-start at helping the Benthans (if it doesn't, just warp out again).

    Note: Gaining XP/ship XP has changed to where it doesn't get added until you warp out or finish a patrol, due to performance issues.

    According to the last Livestream, they're making new 'patrols' to go along side the current ones that give more XP/Ship XP, but those won't roll out for a while.
