"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

I don't think we need more tac ships with pilot honestly, I think this one can do with one of the other specs.
I agree, MW or intel would be cool on a T6 saber. At this point I'd even take command over pilot because the pilot/escort market is so oversaturated. Just no temporal, it's kinda useless on a ship with only 2 sci console slots.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

Personal choice aside it's up to the devs which ships get released next, and furthermore I am pretty sure the mods don't want people to talk about requested ships other than the one in someones ship request thread.
An escort with MW. Less boring than yet another pilot or intel escort.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

True, another destroyer (which the Da Vinci would probably qualify as, especially with MW) would be more interesting than another pure escort or heavy scout, though the vibe I get from the STO implementation is that they probably use the official onscreen size of 190 meters (about 20 meters longer than a Defiant-class) rather than the Norway stats (with a length of 364.77 meters) that were accidently substituted for the official ones in the DS9 tech manual, and I suspect the novel assumed the DS9 stats were correct.
Also, they seem to treat the Saber as a light-to-mainline escort in the game with the Akira taking the role of the heavy escort/destroyer role already. On the other hand, if they made the T6 a "temporal" ship with the standard First Contact look along with a sleek sunflower-seed-with-claws (or boomerang-with-claws) "future" skin similar to the way they do the TOS temporal ships it would probably sell well enough to be worth muddying up their current lineup order a bit.

Missing the logic behind that. Why command?
