What is up with the Character Creator?

What has happened to the character creator?

There are two hundred and fifty two thousand pages to navigate, it's laggy, my character is wobbling all over the place while I'm trying to work on him there are no save and load outfit buttons any more??

Is there a way to use the other one, it was much better and much more useful. I have to make new characters now to fix my BOFFs randomly generated demonic proportions and hell faces...

Not real keen on this.

I don't have any real issues with the redesigned creator (for clarity, we're talking about NEW character creation here; the tailor for existing characters is the same). However my one complaint is the lack of the load costume feature, as I might want to load an existing costume on a new character and don't want to have to play all the way through the tutorial (yes I want to play the tutorial sometimes) before being able to go to a tailor and load the costume I wanted.

I know some might say what's the big deal, just re-create it. But I'm not just talking about an 'outfit', I'm talking about an alien that has a highly customized face and body and would take a long time to recreate.

The Character Creator UI was redesigned recently, but only for initial character creation. The in-game Tailor UI still works the same as always.

Fun fact: each time you commission a boff(even Tovan) it gives you one-time access to the tailor. You can use that to customize your captain.

Yea, but sometimes I get a new boff of a race I don't have saved and the BOFF has been assigned random whackyass demon proportions, you know HUGE head tiny torso massively long arms no legs and a forehead that sticks 42 stories into the air. Rather than try and fix it in the tailor I used to zip into the character creator, pick the same race, tweak it quickly in there then save and load it onto the boff. Takes all of 4 minutes. Now I have to completely create a new character, load it, play it, find the tailor, save it, delete it then reload it. It's a smidge agitating for something that really didn't need to be deleted.

Did they also remove the static stance and lighting controls?

No, static stance is still there, I've used it. Don't know about the lighting controls as I don't use them.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D
