    Question:
    If you buy this coupon from July 3rd to July 8th can you still open it or use it later on? Say I buy it now and open for a Xmas present will that work or does the ad mean you have to open it between 7/1 to 7/8 only?

    This is a great potential EC sink. It allows us to have a way to get EC to a reasonable amount (105m? round about based on key value metric) to purchase a T6 starship with EC rather than exchanging Dil for Zen.

    This should go in rotation and be run every month on the 1rst with additional runs at Holidays(Cyber Monday start with a flash discount?) That will allow us to buy fleetmates and family birthday gifts with a limited first of the month run, and Holiday season gifts during the Nov-Dec months. It won't upset the market too much, as ready availability will make those willing to pay exorbitant EC prices willing to wait for it to go on sale again at the start of each month.

    I think this is just the available to buy timeframe.

    So you can keep it as long as you like to send it at any time after that (as long as you don't accidentally 'open' it in your inventory). :)

    Not able to be put on the Exchange apparently. Combined with the limited time run they're not living up to their full potential tial.

    They have absolutely no idea how to effectively make EC sinks.

    Nice now can we please have servers that aren't a lagging/rubberbanding/stalling/SNR/Random Disconnection/Power tray misfiring mess to use these ships on.

    To answer some of the questions in this thread:

    Will this Coupon be able to be sold on the Exchange?
    No

    Will it have the same ship restrictions at the Coupon earned from FTFOs?
    Nope - the only thing you can't buy with it is another Coupon.

    So you can buy the latest ship that comes out without the 'cool-down' time that the FTFO coupons.

    So, it can't be posted on the exchange, but I'm assuming there's nothing stopping someone from selling a coupon like this in the "Buy/Sell/Trade" channels...

    Since this went unanswered yesterday on Twitter, and I would really like an answer....

    Can someone explain to me why I would gift this to someone instead of gifting them a ZEN code or card for the same amount from a retail store (i.e. https://m.gamestop.com/browse/search?searchTerm=Perfecr world ) and telling them to wait for a sale to get what they want for a cheaper price so they would get more bang for their/my buck?

    Because, unless I were one of these people who are able to pull in a lot off of the Dilithium Exchange or have a lot of stipend sitting around, I don't underatand the point of this from a financial stance.

    Could end up being one of those things they activate (like flash sales) when their ships=content approach starts to stagnate again and they need some cash to make new ships.

    Be interesting to see the barter value of a store to gamblebox ship, can see it being store plus x number of keys.

    Not using the exchange is just another way of reducing EC flow within the game, won't address inflation or need for sinks at all.

    Yes, if you open it you just gave yourself a ship.
    Once you open the reward pack, the Coupon itself is bound to account, so be careful not to open it before you send it off to your friends. Give the best gift in the galaxy, Captains, give the gift of space travel.

    A wasted opportunity. They really should have allowed these to be put on the Exchange... currently in trade chat they're selling for about 180 mill which is a worse return than buying R&D promo packs and selling them on the Exchange ..
