I am guessing that this is in the patch notes some where. Why was Reputation Dilithium removed from the system? I use to rely on making all my Dilithium by running daily zones like the allied sphere, badlands battlegrounds and so on. What changed so much that this had to be removed?

I don't recall anything about Rep Dilithium being removed...
Does this have to do with the fact that you no longer have projects you can slot to trade marks and elite tokens for Dilithium? If so... they actually streamlined it by making a "store" for each Rep where you can actually turn in those in BULK in one go rather than cycle one project at a time.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I like this new way to trade in marks/elite marks for extra dilithium. Just about maxed out rep to T6 on my main, so any marks I get from boxes, Events will go towards extra dil when it's accumulated.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
Oh, I get the tradeoff. I just don't know that the time gate is necessary or matters.
If the time gate/instant gratification issue truly did matter, why bother with the new Trade mechanic in the first place, especially since there is obviously now a lot of dil chasing zen in the dilex (as the rate has now skyrocketed to 380+/zen).
That - and I was noting for @carmen1983090887 that there was still, indeed, a reputation project to exchange marks for unrefined dil, contrary to how I interpreted his original post, "Why was Reputation Dilithium removed from the system?" There is both the Trade option and the Project option.

In Continued Joint Support (hourly), you get 340 dil for 15 marks (plus 7500 EC and 1000 XP).
Whereas, you get 500 dil for 50 marks in the Trade in Marks option.
You get almost twice as many dil/mark (though it takes an hour and much more effort) to Trade than to do the Project.
