I have been watching the trailer that came out on the new Star trek Picard series. I was thinking that Picard was born in 2305 and the show has been said to take place 20 years after Nemesis. That would make it 2407. Of course that would make Picard 102 years old. Do you guys think that cryptic will incorporate the series to some degree in game. There is only a 2 year gap from the new series to the start of the game (2409).
Fleet Admiral of the U.S.S. ATTILA KHAN-CDA (NX-921911).
Nemesis was 2379 add 20 years would be 2399 not 2407

Its pretty much a given they will try and integrate something from Picard. They've done it for every series and just about every movie. Hell... you could say we even have a piece of The Animated Series thanks to Caitians. While Caitians were seen in the movies, they first appeared in TAS.

i saw the trailer and i understand why he wants to get back to space... he is no good with wine.. neglecting his vineyard by letting grass grow too high around vines

Yes, I was disgusted to see the grass growing so high around the vines; his brother would turn in his grave!
Picard should be punished; perhaps banished from Earth would be fitting. I think the new Picard series will not live up to the hype; if Picard cannot grow a good set of grapes; how will he save the galaxy from imminent threats?
I think the series should focus upon him revamping his vineyard and cutting the grass; it could have a variety of weekly guests from previous Trek series'; Riker could visit and advise Picard on the acidity of the soil...
Troi could visit and council him on how to speak to the vines and open up his heart and feelings towards them, in order to help them bloom.
I think this has great potential! I may even contact CBS to see what they think.

I think people forget Picard wasn't a winemaker for MANY years. He was a starship Captain.
A: He doesn't have the experience his brother had.
B: He might not be doing the work himself. He could have just "retired" to the vineyard.
C: Out of universe, somebody probably doesn't know how a modern vineyard is supposed to be, or they're trying to use 24th Century Juju.

One would know the difference between six foot weeds and vines.

We don't know.
The weeds in Picards vineyard is a serious issue; one that could cause a whole host of issues for the current series and those of the future, it needs serious consideration. The vinyards of Picard played a pivotal role in the season finale of TNG - I really do think that the Q continuum would be incredibly offended by the amount of detritus that Picard allowed to built up in the vineyard.
As a result they could legitimately decide to reverse their decision to save humanity, based on the level of neglect that Picard showed his vinyard.
It could be a faux pas that results in a Galactic wide calamity and the extinction of the human species...

And yes, I am being facetious.
