The nano infestation trait says it triggers from control powers, but I'm having trouble identifying powers that are definitely control. Some powers I would call control effects (like Ionic Turbulence) don't trigger nano-infestation. Ionic Turbulence doesn't seem to trigger other control stuff either. Evade Target Lock benefits from Control Amplification, but doesn't list nano-infestation as a triggered effect when I slot the trait.
I've also tried using AOE control abilities like Scramble Sensors and Viral Impulse Burst (which list nano-infestation as a triggered effect) to try and hit many targets with nano-infestation, but they don't seem to get affected all the time. Sometimes even my primary target doesn't get hit with the effect.
Is nano-infestation something that only happens on a percent chance per hit? It doesn't say that on the trait.
nanoprobe infestation =/= nano-infestation which is what i assume the OP is mentioning, which is the section 31 trait, and as to the OP i've found the following work
tractor beam, gravity well, aand photonic shockwave, hope it helps
tractor beam, gravity well, aand photonic shockwave, hope it helps
I wish there was a tag system so I could look at a power and easily tell "oh that's got the control tag so control related things will affect it," or "Ah the drain tag. Got it. Drain effects will happen." Looking at the effect and thinking "that sounds controlly" isn't working.
As I said, things that say they will trigger it don't consistently do it. That's why I asked if it's supposed to be a percent chance to trigger or if it's only supposed to be single-target things.
It doesn't say it's restricted to science only and intel has plenty of control powers that even list the nano-infestation effect when you hover over them while the trait is slotted.

EDIT: Yes, the wiki says that it is for Ground.
