Pets have a tendency to follow you better, if they are too far away, they go to full impulse... i can say 80% of the time, i never give orders to them, so i'm not quite sure about that, but at least part of the fix is working.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Half my hangar pets are AWOL most of the time now. I call them, they go after the first thing we fight, then only half of them come back. If I sit there and change commands a bunch of times they sometimes return. Sometimes they fight, sometimes they fly around in circles. Sometimes they follow, sometimes they do not. It seems like in the process of fixing some bugs they lobotomized the pilots. Everything about hangar pets now seems a bit wonky.

Yes, the AI on those pets, sometimes seems kinda dumb, i dont give them commands, and i launch them close to my targets, kinda use them as separation pets, instead of hangar pets, and that works for me.

They're still usable, it just feels like they traded one set of weird bugs for a different set of weird bugs. At least we were all used to the old bugs.
My Vorgon frigates seem to do quite good about following me and attacking when combat starts. They're also quite durable, even the blue ones that came with the ship.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.

Mine seem to be working a bit better. Mo'kai Fighters are slightly better at keeping up and engaging enemies, with two wings in each bay launched at the start of Starbase One (one set to Attack, the other to Escort). Kelvin Timeline Drones (set to Attack) kept up a lot better in the Undine Battlezone, even when at Full Impulse + Evasive + APO + APA boosting speed they were at a max of 12km, and very quickly caught up when I got to an engagement.
Pet AI/UI interactions are so fidgety in this game. Kinda glad I'm amongst the lucky to see improvement.
Some of the best are the Romulan Drone Ship, Nausicaan Stingers and KT Assault Drones.
Yukawas are still bad, but better than before.
r/u/Callen151 might do a second round of test, but definitely needs a break first. If he does, Peregines, Xindi Mobulu, Scorpions, Oschu SHutles, Jem'Hadar Fighters, Tholian Widows and Swarmers might come later. He doesn't have access to the others, and even getting Elite pets for those he has access to is quite expensive, so ... maybe someone less lazy than me could assist him with their own parses.

Started this thread a few days ago if you wanna add on your observations.
Small maps seem to be doable, but seems like you should just forget using hanger pets in large battlezones.

Yeah....that is my biggest gripe right now. They seem to be working better but their docking habits haven't really improved much.
