Game Print " Can we get our Captains Printed"

marvodamightymarvodamighty Member Posts: 3 Arc User
I am really happy with my Gameprint ship They look great on my desk at work. I would love to get a couple of prints of my Klingon, Romulan and other Captains. I would love to pose this to them. I could easily pay, and happily so a few more dollars for a 6 or 7 inch print.

It's been mentioned as a possibility in the future.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

    Indeed.

They've talked about that in the Ten Forward streams, it's something they'd love to do but there's issues due to there being fragile parts (when printed that is) in the character models like horns or such, or on the costumes like pipes or cords. So they want to solve the issue with those parts before giving players option to print their captains.

So it's a possible that it will happen in the future but don't expect it to happen anytime soon.

Items like the Iconian Meridian could be an issue too. It's not actually attached after all.

On the smaller models, things like small pylons or nacelles sag and droop. I imagine things like fingers and such would have issues even with bigger captain models.

    Easy solution... hold a rifle.

I'd definitely love to get my toon printed. Wouldn't mind getting her printed in a couple of looks either, as she's changed over the years.

I haven't printed a ship year, but I'd like to order my New Orleans at a decent size. Might end up being an early holiday present from me to me

I am curious as to what scale captains would be in for 3D printing. Army men? Action figure?
Resident TOS, G.I. Joe, Transformers and hair metal fangirl.

What if you don't want a rifle and want a pistol? Or you don't want a rifle at all? Or your captain uses a sword? Most of mine uses a sword of some sort. Not to mention some rifles are it's own set of issues.

Anything you can wrap the fingers around would make that part stronger. For pistol, maybe aim it with both hands? Or have one hand in a fist. There are definitely options.
