They've been patched to once again be affected by the Science RnD Trait but Im still seeing them crit (per my parser) below 50%.. 40% is my best so far. My Science ships run anywhere from 430-515 Epg but the deflectors seem to crit less than saw Gravity Well.
My Test medium is ISA (pug runs). Using Tac Eng and Sci Characters running a Wells/Multimission Warbird/31c Eternal.. All 3 were back to back runs. All running Deteriorating secondary deflectors (2 Colony 1 Rnd) Each did about 80k +
Prior to the fix. The secondary deflector was critting for around 60% or aleast 50%..
Any Ideas?

Some ISA parses Ive seen as low as 15%...Which is insanely low..

Ship build for that run. Skill build is for the Science Ultimate.(But I dont use Probability Manipulation)

I've run similar science ship builds since the last time I posted..Sometimes I 'might' barely get 50% critical chance for the deflector.. Most times its around this number
I've used.
..Different Races..
Different Captain classes..
Different toons.
Different deflector triggering abilities (Only triggers I haven't used are Charged Particle burst and Viral Matrix)..
Different science ships (Scout, Sci ship, Multi-mission, Sci dreads..T5U's and T6s)
More EPG..
Less EPG
More Drain..
Most run at least DRB1 and Structural Analysis 1 (Tachyon beam has been added since I started this thread).
All Ships run the Science RnD <b>Particle Manipulator</b>'. So I should be at 50% chance..So what gives? What broke?
Something between the Rnd trait and deflector?
