What starship weapon is this?

I've seen a strange looking energy weapon that the NPC starship USS Glenn from the "Secrets" episode mission uses and I've seen this weapon on at least one player starship as well. It's not a torpedo weapon, it's more like a cross between a cannon and a beam array. The energy projectile from the weapon fires faster/moves faster than a cannon projectile but not quite as fast as a normal beam array, can anybody tell me what this weapon is?

Its probably the Discovery style Phaser Array. She's only got phasers and torpedos for weapons. On the Exchange it would be some of the (insert prefix here)-Linked Phaser. There's also Disruptors that have the same look as well.
