help with jh vanguard carrier build

My jem'hadar is a tactical captain using the vanguard carrier. Ive been running be arrays and the Morphogenic torpedo forward, and the crafted polaron omni and morphogenic omni rear, with a fire at will/torpedo spread build.

Im wondering now if I'd be better off using dual beam banks instead of arrays, and beam overload instead of fire at will. Any thoughts?

It takes a bit to turn that beast..Id stick to arrays. I use beam overload (or did until I got the Gregarin Trait)..

It does take a bit to turn, but i tend to try keeping my nose on groups of enemies anyways because of the torpedo. Any opinion on faw vs bo?

I try to run that specific character as a slow science ship.I like BO as it add Crit H and D to my beams after the overload.

I'd also say stick to beam arrays. Having the torp in the front is a nice little bit of extra punch if you got your nose pointed at them, but generally with bricks like a Carrier, broadsiding is better.

Having flown a few carriers I would generally suggest the beams to offset the turn rate.
