invalid username or password error

I keep getting a invalid username or password error when I try to login to the launcher. I type the same info into the this website, and it works, so I know I am not mixing up anything, I even tried using using the cryptic guard link in the launcher since i'm logging in for the first time on my brand spanking new laptop. I was successful with the cryptic guard, so why won't the launcher accept my password? I even tried deleting all but the startrekonline.exe and the "star trek online" directory, to let the launcher redownload it's files.

well.... that didn't work..... since I can log in from the web page and access my account, I tried changing the password. I went through the whol rig-a-moral and did the confirmation message thing, and the password has been changed to a new one, but I am still getting invalid username or password error in the launcher.

I did check to with cryptic account guard just to make sure no one had been dicking with my account, and the only IP address(s) that had attempted access were from me

is your username ,your mail adress? if not, try your mail adrs as username

Very strange that it works everywhere but the launcher. Have you tried using the Arc Client? I am thinking that since it logs you in automatically after you log into the client itself, maybe that will work?
