I know the event has just ended or about to end today but please escalate to Devs. There has been a recurrent glitch noticed earlier in the May event and came back with a force this last event as well.

Several times with my teams we noticed the event ENDS prematurely while others are alive. We noticed in one of the runs, 2 of us were "full lives" and 3 died rapidly, yet the AI ended the event abruptly. This is the untimed event but also happens in the timed event.

We did other runs with other setups and the glitch repeated itself. Do we all need to be constantly alive or what is the cutoff for the AI to end the event? 1, 2 or 3 alive? Do people need to alive in the basket before dropping to the floor or that does not count either? We tested different iterations of the glitch but the AI ends the event even when at least 1 person is alive. Random glitch? Perhaps? And Yes, we did send a ticket to GM as well.

I know there is a gradual increase to make the event “challenging” but this is hard to circumvent when the AI cuts the event randomly. If there is one person alive the AI should still keep going and not cheat, after all it is not the Kobayashi Maru event. normal-2.gif

I personally seen that glitch as well. We were in wave 85 and wow the AI cheated while 1 one us was still alive.

Not sure what triggers it but very depressing for those few of us who love this event. So glad I did get to 100 when it originally started back in the day. Now it is glitchy IMO.

This happened multiple times to me, as well.

I started to fire at an enemy to register a hit first thing after respawning and dropping to the ground, but even that wouldn't guarantee that the AI would register that there was at least one live player.

What it seemed like to me - purely anecdotally - was that there was some sort of timer. Player deaths registered instantly, but respawns required some timer before it registered that there was a living player. If the final living player died before the respawn timer registered a living player, the event seemed to end.
