I decided to level a toon from 60-65 last night...Finished the New Romulus arc, and am unable to play/start any missions after Secrets of the Ancients. The hail, replay etc. buttons are not just greyed out, they are just gone. video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xcukuVTDtQ&t
I'm an Idiot. figured it out eventually. disregard this post.
They're like that because of the New Romulus TFO introduction mission that they put into the New Romulus arc. Skip or do that and the Solanae arc missions will become available, or, really, Sphere of Influence will become available and so on as you finish or skip those. Thinking about it more, there may be other TFO introductions earlier that are also blocking your progression, so, if just skipping or running the queue for the New Romulus one doesn't do it, go back and look for anything in the earlier arcs with Skip and Hail buttons and choose one or the other on those.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.
yea, it's still stuck...I did the new romulus tfo... nothing is progressing... also I'm not really ok with being forced into playing the TFOs.
Did you check all of the earlier categories? There was one or two of those placed in most Journal categories with Age of Discovery. You don't really have to play them, from my experience, just skipping them all should allow you to move on. Of course, that will still cause them to be hailed to you if you have mission auto-hail turned on.
I'm not really a fan of the TFO introduction missions, either, mind you.
