Forum Quote Function

Not sure this would qualify as a 'bug', or where else it would go, so.

Is there some particular 'correct' way to use the quote function to get actual quote boxes with formatting and editing options? Because so far my experience is that it seems to be completely random when i quote someone whether I get that or just something along the lines of:

@soandso#1111

>blah
>blah blah
>blah blah blah

>blah

with no options.

    It is the mobile app that is not accepting of BB code. I get quotes different ways depending on if I am using my Kindle, which the system sees as mobile, or if I use my computer.

    The dang thing is totally confuzzled by my Chromebook...sometimes it sets it as mobile, other times as a computer browser. LOL!
