I just got kicked off and can't even connect to the launcher.

    Same here, I was in the middle of trying to log on when it happened. Network or server-related, it appears.

    Client says the account server is timing out.

    It has been wonky all day. At least dead is consistency.

    It's happened to me a few times today. I thought it was just on my Xbox one, but it just did the same thing on my pc. I don't know what's going on, but it's getting frustrating.

    "Timeout during login" I have been kicked at least 10 times in the last 14 hours. They find a even cheaper and poor quality server company to go with to explain the 5 hour down time?

    This has been happening to me as well. I have checked my connection which is stable and have no issues with other MMO's or websites. I am force verifying the game and going to try every trick in the book. I had come back after a couple years during early summer and the game was fairly stable, as STO goes, but this was the same reason I left a couple years ago, constant DC's. Since the Patch/Maintenance this has been a problem for me, again the same thing that happened a couple years back.
