Hello @dirtling , Did you complete or skip the discovery tutorial? With reporting in you already got the shuttle and visited the tailor?
I apologize. It is more accurate to say that I can't even begin "Reporting In".
Yesterday, I was in the middle of the "Children of War" mission when I lost connection. This happened during the space battle that takes place after erecting the shield over the colony. I did not try to reconnect because I had to go.
Today, when I logged in, the game didn't let me continue "Children of War" at the last save point. Instead, it gave me the "mission complete" interaction, which I accepted and received the rewards. I did not receive an interaction telling me about the "Reporting In" mission. It was already waiting for me in the Mission Tracker.
Hello @dirtling , Do you have Reporting in available in your in-progress tab?
Yes, the mission is in the In-Progress Tab. Just like @h4p4x, I cannot enter the Sol System (or any other system, for that matter). There's no map marker telling me to go to the Sol System for this mission, either.
Yes, this is a new Disco toon I am starting, and yes, @dirtling is having the exact same problem as me, sans the lost connection part.
I finished 'Children of War,' got the rewards, ended up back in sector space and now can't enter any systems, at all. I sent in a support ticket; I just checked, it doesn't even show that I did (and I wrote down the ticket number)!
@chrian , I followed all the prompts. Everything was working just fine until I ended up back in the sector; I got all the rewards and was advanced in rank. I just can't get into any systems now.
The first time I do missions, unless for extraordinary circumstances, I don't leave via UI, I do all the prompts -- just in case I miss a dialog or something.
@h4p4x , So you were above corvan 2, you read the dialog by shran and got the mission rewards. And the popup from your Bridge officer appeared and said to warp you to Sol system?
@chrian , yes, as a matter of fact I warped into sector space near Starbase 1, in-between there and Azura. That seems to be the spot where most everyone is placed upon completion of the mission.
I most definitely read the dialog by Shran, because I almost died before the cavalry arrived! That's not an easy mission for a cadet... And bear in mind, okay, that I went to my dilithium store and Zen store and claimed all I could for this character, so he was in NO way under-geared!
Maybe I shot through the mission too quickly? Would that have any bearing on this?
@h4p4x , I verified internally and upon completion I was warped directly to Starfleet academy by using the Bridge officer prompts. I also made a live discovery character and using the prompts from my bridge officer it took me straight to Starfleet academy. Did you exit the game / change character before leaving corvan 2? After having finished it?
@chrian , I did not exit or do anything upon completion besides be warped into the sector. I took the rewards and then this is what I got. I will take a screenshot of what I now see with my toon and upload it here: https://imgur.com/a/jVBcZVm
Hello @h4p4x , There is a fix coming that will add in a failsafe contact to appear for you and others who are experiencing this issue. It will be in an upcoming game update though I am note sure when. Thank you for your continued patience.
@chrian , thank you for your prompt attention in fixing this. I did find out some pertinent information that I did not previously know, which could be a factor here: upon completion of 'Children of War' and returning to the sector, I took a bio break. When I did, my 8-year-old, who I let fly my ships around sometimes, hit the map border and was given the 'WARP' or 'DISMISS' options; he chose 'WARP.'
I didn't know about this until this morning.
If that could have caused this problem, which it's the only thing it could have been, really -- once again chalk it up to human failure. Sorry!
**EDIT** I just went ahead and deleted that toon and started a new one. It's not a big deal, and this time I ain't leavin' the room.
@chrian, thanks I was having this exact issue with my first character and then my second character the same issue again. In my case, I kept on crashing at Corvan II before the Defeat Klingon Fleet objective was completed, this happened to me twice. Then why I logged in, I was able to turn in the mission Children of War for the AoD tutorial to Shran but was not able to begin Reporting In, even though it was in the In Progress tab. I already submitted a ticket about it twice now. May this be fixed in the next patches.

Methinks it bedeviled, so far, this new season...
