DS9 map is not loading, and cryptic keeps kicking me out. It says the map does not exist, due to not updating, but I'm fully updated, and I took a different character to ds9 and now I can't play the game. Saying the map does not exist?
I am also not able to access DS9, or characters which have traveled to that location.
The game crashes when attempting to access the Ds9 Ground Map,
The First character that has this issue was my Romulan/Fed. I put in a ticket to have him moved from Ds9, & the next day He had been moved, & I could use that character again.
Second character was Jem'Hadar/Klingon, I docked at Ds9, & game crashed. 10/22/2018,
Currently putting a GM ticket to have that character moved.
- Putting in a ticket to have my Jem'Hadar moved.
- I tried,
- Force verify, Tried 4x times.
- On Demand Patching is on
- Safe mode,
- Graphics tweaking, including turning on/off Lighting 2.0
- game crashes when attempting to log into character who is at the Ds9 map.
- Retrying everything again before putting in the new ticket.
Error Msg.

Fatal Error: Failed to load data for map: either the data does not exist on disk (failed to patch) or the crc or version number of the data on disk does not match what the code is expecting.
Finally decided to make a sig.
I see allot of them with a character, and ship.
though I'm not sure which ship to put on there...
I'll think about it. This will do for now.

Turn OFF "On Demand Patching"....Then do a "Force Verify".
With as many people that are being helped by just taking this one step: Turning off "On Demand Patching" before doing a "Force Verify"......I suspect there is a problem with "On Demand Patching" which is probably not triggering file download for some parts of the game.
Taking these steps is correcting 2 things....crashes when changing maps including when joining queues, AND unable to load into DS9 and crashing to desktop when they try it. @chrian#9670
All you need do is follow @snovern and read his/her comments from around the forums for the better part of the past month or two or three...you will see that pattern.

Hope it helps you like it did me and at least two other players.
Doing one without the other did not helped anyone who has reported the problem so far.
