Question: are the additional swarmers from the sci ship trait equal to the ones that come in the hangar? It seems quite good to have a trait which could potentially turn any ship with a single hangar into a full carrier.
Glad you fixed the carrier ship, or at least "appeared" to do so in the new pictures. The reveal pictures made it look like the whole pod section was on top rather than the side like how the ship actually is with NPCs.
Those are some powerful looking stats. I just might look for a chance to get one of these.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

It'd be nice if the Hurq Swarmer hangar pets could be improved... they're trash as is. If nothing else, give them the rapid deployment feature of the House MoKai Raiders - it suits the swarm theme.
The science ship looks really nice, the kind of thing a few of my characters could really use setup wise. Unfortunately it is rather moot since it is highly unlikely I would ever get one, I do not have the budget for the dozens and dozens of keys it would take to get one out of a lockbox or the lobi crystals to buy one directly.
Are these supposed to be swarmers? At this rate of using just one hanger to deploy pets does not look very powerful as the NPC version IMO.
The set up does not seem to agree with the story of the Hur’q Assembly ships. I know there is the Hivebearer trait spawn but still does not justify what these awesome "swarms" ought to be....more like a puny swarm

Escort carriers always have 1 hangar, and science ships, if they have any hangars, have one... it's only carriers and dreadnought carriers that have two. I doubt they're going to break with their long-time formula just for a gimmick.
The Vecrid Hive ship has two as its a dread carrier... but admittedly the hurq swarmers are kind'v pathetic even then. The new traits might help a bit, but the hangar pets themselves desperately need a buff, if only to give them better feel. As I mentioned above the MoKai raiders from the Sarcophagus ship are actually much MUCH more in line with what you'd expect from the swarmer pets: they launch twice as often and don't gain ranks... and any time they die, they buff the carrier with some temporary HP.
With the doubled launch rate a single hangar can feasibly launch new fighters as fast as a two-hangar ship, assuming launch doffs. Combine that with the new swarmer starship and space traits and any Hurq ship would be an absolute swarmer factory, which is what the Hurq are all about.
I will pass on these, as I have more than enough I am looking forward too. And as I have stacks of other lockboxes I have yet to open, I will likely sell off all the Swarm LBs I get and also clear out my Hirogen LBs.

Also needed a T6 Science Cruiser, that can wear any Science or Cruiser skin.

(Just a shame I find the state/direction of the game itself to be so discouragingly disheartening.)

Yes they are, although it's only really worth it (apparently) if you have the Vekrid Hive too:
