Did they drop the daily bonus?

Been hammering out my dailys and have noticed I was getting 78 marks and it's down to 65.

Whata gives?

And no I haven't had any bonus pools

Perhaps a normal queue instead of an advanced?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Maybe Mark Bonus Weekend was going when you were last playing on your platform? I think it's been a few weeks for PC, but they might have been running it recently on consoles.

The daily bonus box gives 55 marks. Scroll down to the Daily Bonus Marks entry. Patrols that give marks give 10 marks. I believe that Delta Quadrant patrols were like that from their release, and the former Tau Dewa sector patrols were changed on February 26th, 2015 to match them. Scroll down just a little. Formatting is bad in there, so it looks like it's under General, but prubably should be a new category for Content. 65 is the normal reward for a patrol with the daily bonus box.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

With the Daily Bonus 65 in any Patrol or Red Alert. 10 without.

Ground Missions on New Romulus will award between 75-85 Romulan Marks with the Daily. 20 without and the first Ground Mission of the day will award an additional 10 Romulan Marks.

Come to think of it, wasn't there a marks event not too long ago? Perhaps that made the difference in rewards.

Maybe they had a fleet mark bonus pool in use that has reached the 100 marks bonus. Head back to the fleet store and buy a few more to get those bonus fleet marks.

78 is what you get with bonuses applied. 65 is the correct amount without any applied bonuses. If you're on PC you can check current boosts just under the top XP rank bar. There's no way to check this on consoles at the moment.
