Valdore console. That will take care of your shield issue.

Wish I'd have room to slot that on a Scimitar or on a Morrigu.

Okay I’m just going to say this Pryor ur an idiot and should stop trying to give advice to people about ships and pvp. Mines are useless in pvp and the romulan intel war bird hasn’t been good in 2 years or better surgical strikes was great when intel 1st came out with delta rising as well as over ride system safeties boom alpha go down fighting tact fleet intel fleet decloak alpha strike vape and run. But thanks to traits like zhal and continuity from the temporal spec it’s about impossible to actually vape anyone any more in pc sto or console sto. As far as the timer on cloak if your romulan and stack th right bridge officers you can get the cloak timer down to 12 secs or so which is plenty of time to kill someone and get back in cloak for a vape run in th old days before season 13.5 rebalance rapid fire bo high yield boom decloak vape run away. Now days you can still semi vale but you need another person to alpha st the same dime you do burn down their zhal then temporal spec respawn then you can finally get a kill. So if your getting vaped in kerrat one you suck at pvp and should stay out of there until, you can get help from someone who actually pops I suggest if ur on pc you talk to someone from hobos they can teach you the ins and outs of sto pvp really fast pls don’t take advice from this Pryor kid he is not very knowledgeable and I’m guessing gets vaped very easily in pvp.

hes right, dont take advice from me....... all these guys that come on here and bash me are the same guys that get DUSTED in Kerat by my little Science ship named Noobish 13 on a daily basis, they need 2 and/or 3 guys to gang up on me to make the kill............. and I intensionally make sure my ship is killable for good PvP fun.
    I think I remember this guy robby0321.......... I ABUSED HIM !!!!!

The vast majority of people asking for help on this forum are asking for PVE. We try to help them and you always come along and throw in advice centered on PVP which constantly muddies the water. I don’t PvP so honestly, I don’t even know if your advice is even good, but people I trust far more then you all seem to agree that it’s bad advice.

I’m not going to bash on you man, I do believe you intend to help but I am going to be honest and tell you that you often make things worse with your contributions. Giving people PvP advice when they don’t care about PvP doesn’t help anyone and you honestly should stop.

If you want a Romulan ship that can take a beating and shrug it off... T6 Miracle Worker set. Kara's pretty good too, also the separation gimmick is optional. The T6 D'D variant is also good.

Faeht is quite versatile, but a bit squish. also it's trait is a bit meh.

You are not getting what I am saying,......
If you are CLOAKED, activating Masked Approach will de-cloak YOU AND RAISE SHIELDS, Your battle cloak will start a countdown.
With the ADDED Stealth from the 2 piece set Masked Approach works better than a cloaking device PLUS YOUR SHIELDS are still up, just not able to Fire weapons including torpedos, as you approach your victim UNDER MASKED APPROACH ( not cloak ) You power up all your clickes, your Battle Cloak countdown should be finished, deactivate MASKED APPROACH then unleash hell, your Battle Cloak should be Ready to Use because you haven't been using it since you ACTIVATED Masked Approach.
Don't tell me that the Cloak goes on cool down again from coming out of Masked Approach, unless they have changed something in the latest updates the above described will work, don't take my word for it, test this YOURSELF with one of your current ship that has a Battle Cloak...... able to Clo an during combat.

Pryor I’m not sure how smart you are when it comes to sto but if your doing a vape build you want the cloaking bonous damage for coming out of cloak on someone and the new trait in the current lock box that puts cloak back to what it was pre season 13.5 space rebalance for romulans. For the love of God stop advising people on builds when you don’t have the 1st clue how stuff works in this game. And FYI there is not a power called masked approach and if you telling people to use masked energy sig just stop it’s not a cloak never has been and won’t keep you from being seen by anyone with good stealth dec and high aux power. If anyone is foolish enough to take advice from this guy pls don’t ever try to pvp you will die within seconds and never want to pvp again in sto and that is really sad bc pvp in star trek can be a fun experience when you have proper teachers.

Rom HEC with DHCs is good with engs as they provide power for the guns and durability, elite scorpion fighters are way less grindy than fleet elite pets.

This thread was about advice for a PvE ship anyway.. Pryor, no one wants your horrible PvP advice. No one asked for it, no one wants it.

Stop taking threads off topic with your PvP advice. If someone asks for PvP, then cool.. but all you're doing here is taking yet another thread horribly off topic.

    Just stop.

That is an excellent suggestion. Nice ship.

Someone please translate this for me.......

The Romulan version of the Heavy Escort Carrier with Dual Heavy Cannons…

I also agree with Sea. Players are really helping out Marik here as well as in his ship build thread. It is one of the coolest things I have seen in STO forums in ages. While you also try to integrate your PvP knowledge, and by doing so mean well, I’m afraid it only adds confusion for the OP and makes things very difficult for the others. Please find another occasion to do so.

I fly my T'Varo primarily with mines in mind to thin out enemies, and then make oblique passes with the triple Plasma launcher and/or the destabilized Plasma. I noted that cooldown quandry when I originally set the ship up, so I just use 2 types of mines, the Plasma and the Tractors (which I use to hinder enemies instead of outright damaging them). I have the cannons on the ship, but again, I don't really use them as the ship doesn't stand up very long if uncloaked.

I didn't want my tier 6 ship to use this forever cloaked, minelaying style, so I'm less and less inclined to go with the Faeht.

I think I'm pretty much decided.
    Aelahl it is.

Oh, and thanks to all for the advice and information. Much appreciated.

(side note - I wish the Destablised Plasma Projectile hadn't be nerfed - dropping the Red Blob of Doom, under cloak, on unsuspecting enemies was fun in it's purest form).

    Amen.

Currently it is only rivaled by a rear fired Trico Cluster Torpedo.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

[Mod Hat] Let's get this thread back on topic before I have to spend my entire next breaktime splitting it, okay guys? Some of us have day jobs.

And @coldnapalm and @pryor#5476? Both of you take a chill pill. [/Mod Hat]

Anyways, part of the OP was advice on the Tebok… Personally I think it is quite nice. Not really alpha material, but the sort of ship that can maintain a prolonged firefight while killing them.

    ^^ Hear, hear!

This thread was created because the OP wanted a good PvE ship, as he kept dying in his old ships, doing very little to no DPS. There's no point giving him PvP advice (beyond trying to shove in his face how much one allegedly knows about PvP).
