The first Klingon BoP ever seen, commanded by Kruge in TSFS, was in an earlier version of the script a stolen Romulan ship, this was cut from the script eventually, as was Kruge being an outcast. So its not really fanon, and I'd say mark was trying to give it a "conspiracy theory" feel.
Oh I'm aware of that. I'm also aware that, until ENT, fandom (parts of it anyway) have continued that line.
It may not be fanon exactly...but neither is it canon. They changed the storyline so it is now, in canon a klingon ship design.
Well, unless it ends up in the episode, technically anything the writers say is fanon as I assume they are fans (I's imagine you'd have to be) and it's an idea that never makes it to canon material.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I'm glad somebody understands something because I can't make heads nor tails of a single thing OP has said.

"The way you see it" is wrong, flatly, incontrovertibly, unalterably, wrong. We understand you perfectly, your just wrong, and no matter how long or hard you argue your still going to be wrong.
I want you to tell me the way i see it is wrong. Can a person have an idea they want to share
No one is denying your ideas... Heck... Everyone agrees with you for the most part... We all have fan-made ships, and ships from other games we'd like to see in STO... Heck, I have my own design that I have a fully finished 3D model for, that I never got around to get into BC because STO appeared, that I would LOVE to see in STO
People are simply telling you, what Cryptic has been quite clear about: There will be no ships from other games or fan-made designs ever, simply because the licencing issues are either too problematic or costly to get done.
In short: We agree... some of these ships would be nice, but getting hopes up is simply bad for you.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

As I mentioned earlier....this is not a new or original idea, and us folk that have been playing for over three quarters of a decade have seen it, heard it, read it or thought it, and we know, for the most part, the Dev's and CBS's LEGAL view on this. If a fan has drawn it, another game has made it, or it's in TOS legal limbo, it's not getting in-game. The Oddy was a design specifically for the game in a competition drawn up by Cryptic, and the 'Vesta' line of Multi-Mission ships came from a book and the terms were 'negotiated' with the Author IIRC. Cryptic can use 'any' on-screen ship that featured in the TV series and the Movies upto and including Nemesis in accordance to it's CBS granted license, as well as certain ships from the first 2 new ST movies, but if CBS otherwise says no, then it's no. Alot of material in STO, storylines especially, are run by CBS. That much has been confirmed by Dev's. The chances of Cryptic and CBS paying to use another non-canon design are virtually zero.
Rather than just saying a ship should be in-game, actually give a reason for why it should exist, rather than 'it looks good'. One person's Picasso is another's 'splodge of paint mess'. It would be a far better debate.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Real-world, the BoP design was originally meant to be Romulan, but the guys making TMP decided to use Klingons instead when they filmed the movie.
