Has anyone with a broken KDF Beam Up/Leave System bug ever found a real fix to get them working?

Forgive me if this issue has been solved, I haven't been around the STO forums since before the F2P transition. I've found a couple old dinosaur threads containing the same issue I have been having with my KDF captains that were started back during that short period that new Klingon characters began at commander rank.

The problem is that the leave system in space maps and the beam up/abort mission button on ground maps is grayed out and wont function. The visit starship/small craft functions are also not functional. Yes, there are some annoying work arounds to transfer maps such as flying to the edge of the map to force the warp out prompt to show up, and using transporter pads on the homeworld/shipyard. This lets me get the character to a new map but the buttons still do not become active for use. Also, these do not work in all situations, for example the tournament on forcas cannot be completed since the character can't visit the bridge to place the trophy.

Over the years I have submitted a total of 2 GM help messages on this (hasn't been a huge priority to level up my KDF alternates), but to no avail. Anyone else have experience getting this issue resolved from the devs?

Old threads I have found on this issue are listed below. Better say the words so nobody brings them back from the dead.

Klaatu Barada N... necktie... nectar... nickel... noodle. It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word! Klaatu... Barada... N...

[coughs]

[pause, looks around] Okay then... that's it!

Definitely not a problem of any other parts of the user interface active or otherwise. These are the same features that are disable on brand new characters. I suspect this is a problem where the switch to enable these buttons was not thrown properly at the completion of the first few levels. If nobody else has any experience with this issue, I guess it is likely not been a major problem for anyone else. Ordinarily I would just delete the character and start over fresh, but this alt is pretty old and I'd rather not lose a couple character bound odds and ends. I'm working with the support people to try to explain the issue as well, so there might be a back end fix.

Until then, I'm having a friend share the first few low level missions in an attempt to throw the switch myself.

I am not having any problems with the leave mission/system button on any of my KDF characters.

My old one (yes, I made her way back when we had to level a Fed to unlock Klingons) as well as new ones I just made in April. Everything works....the button on the transporter on First City, buttons at the KDF Academy and the button on the mini map.

This includes my KDF Aligned Romulan and KDF Aligned Jem'Hadars.

Wait...are you saying you are still having this problem, even though you have patched your game program???

Yup, the problem has persisted on the live server for years now.

Could you share a screenshot/video of the problem that we might get a clear understanding of the issue exactly as you are experiencing it?

Sure thing. As seen in this image, the GUI buttons for the commands listed above are grayed out and are not functional. This is what every ground map looks like, and space maps are the same with the exception that the transwarp button works.

It seems to be a bug when the zone is loaded. Log out and in again and the buttons should work. At least they usually work for me then. Fast than running for the transporter. Happens on ESD quite often as well.

This lets us see the problem, but not what you see.
    Let me clarify...
Can you share an image of your whole screen so that we can see the other UI elements that are active on your screen, please?
There may be something going on that has intentionally disabled these functions...

i think the buttons/options get disabled in some maps. some maps have them - some do not. started a new klingon few weeks ago. i have the beam out in the academy but its not there in the city. also i can only go to bridge from space. i never thought that is a bug. it seems logical to me to be as it is... most of the time... there is no teleporter(transporter) at the academy so your only option is the beam out. going to the bridge while on the ground - not loggical, as well as transwrapping.
the beam out is a "low priority interaction" button on the GUI. maybe you have it hidden?
might be a bug, indeed. just my experience
