I'd love to order a Mat'Ha, it's still one of my favorite Cryptic ship designs and such a joy to use. The Mat'Ha and Romulan Daeinos/Dinaes Vet Ship are both digital candy.

Beyond that my Nebula Class the 'U.S.S. Coffee In Here' would be a must.

After I see the quality first hand would determine any future purchases. I love the Ambassador Class and Hallmark made a kick-TRIBBLE one a few years back.

The only thing I think is somewhat unfair is that things like Lockbox ships mean you have to own a ship in game to get a cool model, or can you order from Tribble as well?
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

$20 starting for a 4" model?

Man, as much as I wish I could have gotten in on the 12" ones, I couldn't save enough for one at the intro cost, and definitely couldn't now. So you have my unending gratitude for bringing in these smaller ones. Hell, if the markup over starting price is reasonable, I might buy several!

Any sign of character printing on the horizon?

A decent 4" one for $20 would be great. (Assuming tiny nacelle struts don't break off instantly.)
Make Eaglemoss have some competition.
Star Trek Attack Wing minis/game pieces go for $15 and they have crappy quality.
Only thing that would beat this is the old old MicroMachines sets that gave you a dozen-ish mediocre plastic ships for $25.

Now is this a real picture or a mock up? Cause I can't see someone hand painting a 4" one that well. :|

Will the 4" ones have a legible name & registration ?

The announcement is cool. 4 inches = 10cm is the perfect size in my book, and I'm happy not to have to paint anything myself. Now, the question will be how sturdy they are, as I'd play around with the model rather than let them collect dust. Got the glue always handy for my Eaglemoss ships.

Those are very affordable prices, I might get one or more. Maybe a Blackguard, Jupiter, Damar, Corsair, and a JV Carrier.
I would assume that the Jupiter is still unavailable for printing, same with other ships that have forcefield effects (like the Brigid hull on the T6 Vesta)

The new options are printed in color. Hand painting is still available, but only on the 12" models

M'kay... I'd still like to know if the picture is real or a mockup. Are you saying that their 3D printer is as accurate with blobs of hot plastic as it appears to be in this picture? And if it is, then why bother painting the 12" one if you can print that color detail on a 4" model?

So this is cool and frustrating. Cool because I can get more ships printed, and frustrating because I still haven't gotten my original order from mid-March yet.

Your right I still haven't gotten mine neither. I even sent them two emails asking update status and they have not reply back nor will anwser phone when I tired to call them.

Yeah, that's accurate. I've seen the models in person, they look great.

High detail, full color printing has been in the works for a while. Sooner or later someone had to get it right.

Log onto your account on the GamePrint Website and click the "Contact Us" option on the bottom of the screen. You will fill out an in website e-mail and they will reply within a few hours. Faisal from Customer Service will respond to be precise. At least that's who responded to me both times I used GamePrints Contact option.

Will these ships still have all of the details as the hand painted ones? I'm sure there is SOME kind of difference, but if I can't see the details on my ship (i.e. ship name, fleet emblem, windows, etc. etc.), I can't justify spending the money. (I'm on a fixed income). Is it going to be just the structure and colors, or will it have the ship name and windows, etc.

I did that twice and have not receive a reply back from them.

Placed a quote request for a 4 inch print of my main characters Odyssey a few minutes ago.

Waiting for the return email now.

Only one shipping option it seems, 2 day express at $32.58. $32.58 to ship a $19.99 model. Thanks, but no thanks.

I contacted them a few days ago and they responded that they'd get a production update as soon as they could. But I haven't heard back since then.

I don't think any of this is a scam or anything. I suspect that the volume of initial orders was probably more than they could handle, which is causing some delays. And some of the models might be more complicated to print and paint than they might've thought at first. The really frustrating thing is the lack of communication. It would be nice if they'd send out more and more detailed updates about orders, tell us when they start printing and when they start getting painted, etc.

I do plan on ordering more ships using the new printing options, but I think I'll wait a while.

This was an error and is now fixed.

I wanted to order one but the delivery is $52.... that's just insane. $77 in total for a 4 inch model! Someone please tell me this is an error as there is only one delivery option and it can't possibly be that much money!

Kael just said it was an error and I can also confirm that the issue has been fixed (delivery: $8.10 for me.)

Anyway, I made it to payment but I wasn't having any luck with the paypall link in Chrome or Edge. I was able to get through checkout on Firefox. So, if folks have issues try a different browser.

Also, to help set people's expectations the order I placed will be printed on August 6th, with 3-6 weeks allowed for the process. Then there's shipping. So, plan accordingly (this isn't an instant process.)

I didn't see kael's post, but the shipping has only gone down to $47.98, is it just a case of waiting for it to go down?

Are you looking at the page and waiting or have you restarted your order? If it's still saying that and you're not in an exotic location (mine was 8.10 for continental US) then contact gameprint support. If it's a single bug then it should be clear now (I placed my order.)

I refreshed the page after leaving it a few hours, would a different order fix it?

Probably, restart your order. If that doesn't work, continue troubleshooting by redoing the capture.

It's real. They had those exact ships on Ten Forward Weekly. They also confirmed that this is now a thing thanks to new technique with a different kind of resin. This wasn't originally an option with the initial setup. The trade off is that there's less resolution (and that goes down with size) and it's not quite as strong (it should still hold up but be careful in your mock spaceship combat with the smaller models.)

Hand painting still offers the best quality in all respects. The new options are for economy.

When I ordered my hand painted 12" model, the estimated time for printing, painting, and delivery was 3-6 weeks. I placed the order on March 15 and have seen neither hide nor hair of it. I'll let you figure out how many weeks it's been.

These new printed color models will probably have a quicker turnaround time, and I sincerely wish that you get yours when you think you will, but you should probably temper your expectations.
