D'deridex for a tactical Romulan?

Since I used to watch TNG and DS9 I developed a liking for the D'deridex and recently I was thinking of getting one for my tactical Romulan toon who I am trying to make more like TNG Romulans.

Of course I was going to plan on getting the T6 and T6 Fleet versions of it, I was also thinking of using disrupter weapons since that's what they were using in the shows but might still switch back to plasma sometimes.

However looking at the stats it doesn't really seem very suitable for a tactical character, and despite it being called a warship in the shows it is more like a cruiser in the game.

I hear it is dreadfully slow at turning and despite having a lt. commander boff seat for both science and tactical it doesn't seem to have enough science and tactical console slots, so you can't really do a high amount of exotic or regular damage.

I am really not so sure if I should get it or not.

You can fly whatever ship you want, for instance my main tactical character flys the Science Star Cruiser
