D'deridex for a tactical Romulan?

Since I used to watch the shows such as TNG and DS9 I did develop a liking for this ship and originally thought about getting the T6 version in game along with its T6 Fleet variant, however I am really not sure about the actual stats and if it would handle well with a tactical Romulan toon.
In the shows it was treated as a warship, but in the game it seems to be more like a cruiser based on its setup not to mention I hear that it is dreadfully slow at turning.
I am really not so sure if I should even get it now, it's nice that it has both science and tactical ltcommander boff seats, but it only has 3 tactical and 3 science console slots which would make it kind of lack luster in the exotic and regular damage departments.
I really think it should've been either a tactical warship, or a cruiser with tactical as secondary.
