Aquarius love

Hi all,

So as it stands now the T5U Aquarius is in dire need of some bug fix love. You cannot change anything as far as customization goes. Randomize is the only way to get some variation, but half the listed options never work. Could we please get a fix on this? The Aquarius is such an underrated ship.

And if I may; T6 Callisto maybe?
Bah, give the Nova and whatever K'Pingu people the T6 love 1st, they deserve it.

    I want to like the Aquarius, but it's such a underwhelming ship with only 6 weapon slots. Fed really gave up alot for a BoP-ish nearly all universal seating. It'd almost be better off just reclassifying it as a runabout and let it dominate the small craft queues! :D
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    Btw as someone who has the Jupiter and Fleet Jupiter I totally support a T6 Callisto.

    Obviously, that was Lore, not Data. Though that was a good reaction by Crusher. Lots of hair fling! :D

    Why are you asking for fixes for the Aquarius? There is nothing BROKEN or BUGGED with it!!

    They didn't. And it wasn't work place harassment clearly they are both hamming it up.

    I still remember how things were leading up to the old T5 Aquarius' release. Feds had long wanted a Starfleet "Bird of Prey." Universal BOFF seats, high maneuverability, etc. It also didn't help that we had some BOP "Ace" players for the KDF, inflating the Birds of Prey than what they really were.

    The Feds got their wish in 2012 and it was in the form of the Aquarius. It had most things of a BOP. Maneuvering and handling, almost a full universal BOFF seating arrangement. It however did not have 1 key ingredient that really helped save BOP users' behinds many times.

    Battle Cloaks.

    Ask a BOP player what it's like when your Cloaks were not ready and you were under heavy attack by some Feds in PVP. It's not pleasant and they'll likely die quickly. Aquarius didn't have cloaks at all to save such a fragile ship. I rarely saw Aquarius even back when there was still some PVP going on. Too squishy. If you were wanting to fly a hard hitting, light attack style of Fed ship at the time, you were better off with Defiant, Prometheus, and later the outstanding Tempest (one of the last great T5 Escorts before T6 came out). You got full firepower, still very high handling, and you could do without the BOP levels of hull points.

    The Aquarius always felt like a tack-on to me. It was originally just the CY of the Odyssey-class, and also put into the fleet-shipyards. Klingons got an actual, very small BoP on the Bortasqu. Ironically, the Jupiter can have Hangar-pets that are obviously the successor to the Aquarius, but it was never made into an actual T6-vessel.
