BUG-Quantum phase set equipment

I have been noticing for a while now that the quantum phase torpedo which should strip a portion of shields when it hits doesnt do anything at all to the shields..Its doing basically nothing at all overall in terms of any damage rendering them useless..I will be testing the phaser array from the set and see if that is working as intended with its 2.5% chance of transferring shields..

I prefer the torp as its not a chance based weapon and can be used in both forms of HY and spread with varrying potencies..

    Works just fine for me.

What's your drain stat? The shield stripping scales with your drain stats and if that is significantly lower than you target's drain resistance the outcome will be miserable.
Try testing it in a controlled environment (like some patrols or a foundry mission) and closely watch the combat log.

68?? lol, thats absolutely nothing, thats why you are really not seeing anything. Im talking about numbers of 200+ at least , keeping in mind, a strong drain build will have probably about 400-500 maxed out.

Then there goes the quantum phase set out the airlock on my engineering captians..

The Quantum phase set works fine. If you have the basic skills tree posted on the DPS League site, and the Quantum Phase Deflector and the Quantum Phase Convertor at Ultra Rare, you'll have 196 Drain, which is more than adequate for the torpedo to do it's thing.

So, barely able to open the airlock at all at your drain power :)

Dont stress, we all make set choices, or considerations, and sometimes don't even think about the "requirements" to get good results. Even the best starship builders make mistakes, and if one claims they never have.

    Their Lying!!!! lol :)

Now you know, you can look forward to what you might be able to do to push the results further

If you've slotted the mandatory 2 points in Drain Expertise, you get a 100 drainx basic. Adding up what your deflector may add up, at 120+ drain, the torpedo has around 3k shield drain without the TS bonus. The TS bonus I think might touch 20k shield damage.

TS bonus? 20K?! That would atleast nuke my shields 1.3 times in one shot..Lol.. :D
