Multi-Ship Packs that Aren't Factional or Tac/Eng/Sci - And Idea

There are now several full specializations with numerous space skills available to them. Enough so that, if Cryptic wanted, they could opt to take a different, never-before-tried route of releasing packs of multiple ships. We can already see hints of the potential in examples such as the Sovereign and that Elachi battlestar whose name I forget, where they're the same ship, but come with different specializations.

Hypothetically speaking, how would you feel if, say once a year, Cryptic released a nine-pack that contained the usual set of three variants of one ship, but instead of a Tac/Eng/Sci split, they chose three Specializations such as Miracle Worker, Pilot, and Intel? Obviously they could be any three specs they deem fit the ship, those are just examples.

Let's look at a more specific hypothetical example - an Ambassador/Kamarag/Rom Counterpart ship release, in a Miracle Worker/Command/Temporal Ops pack. We'll focus on the Ambassador.

Let's say its BOff layout looked like this:
  • Cmdr Engineering
  • Lt. Cmdr Science
  • Lt. Cmdr Tactical/Spec
  • Lt. Engineering
  • Ens. Universal/Spec

Unlike typical packs, this would remain the same across all three variants. What would change is the specs, so one of the three ships would look like:
  • Cmdr Engineering
  • Lt. Cmdr Science
  • Lt. Cmdr Tactical/Temporal
  • Lt. Engineering
  • Ens. Universal/Temporal

With the other two following the same pattern.

Each ship would still come with a unique skin reflecting its specialization much like current ship skins reflect their main division focus. So a MW Ambassador might be a little sturdier-looking, and a Command might have some parts with more conspicuous communications arrays, etc.

Is this something people would like? Or does limiting the main division of the ship limit it more than the Specialization options' variety makes up for?
