What is an appropriate character name?

I was just forced to change the name of my 3rd toon (8YRS old)

it was "Selendis of Borg"


now can some1 explain this to me pls? also would be nice to get a dev to explain why this name wasnt in line with the rules of the game

How were you "forced" to change your name? This sounds like a very diffuse claim until cleared out with details. Selendis is the name of a faction leader from another space franchise, but it doesn't conflict at least with anything, especially vs Star Trek, which is a sci-fi space giant.

erm as I was trying to log into the character it says: Enter a character name

all other toons would log in fine

(no i did not pay zen for a rename token all my zen r still there)
