I wonder if one of of the "bigger" Giveaway items towards the end might be the DS9 bundle - would fit with the theme of the Bajoran Interceptor Anniversary ship, and of course with the upcoming DS9/Gamma Quadrant focus. They could even push the boat right out and give us the T6 Defiant, but I think that would be expecting rather too much.
Whatever we get or don't get though, there'll be no complaints from me - free is free, and they don't have to run these giveaways at all, after all.

This is the best anniversary start I guess we have had..Everyone rejoices..Some crib without reason despite being a free giveaway..but I'm happy..But I get a strong feeling we are going a DS9 route with gievaways..With the breen ship for winter, the bajoran ship for the anniversary..And VIL in April..
Yeah, there's usually at least one ship for each faction in the giveaways. With there being more days this time around, maybe two ships. Something to hope for. Still a few hours before the new one goes live today.

I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
I am absolutely gutted i was on STO all day that day in the winter wonderland trying to get as many of the outfits from there as i could and i seen no mention of the give away. I didnt realise until day 2 and now i cant get any of the free outfits
All i really wanted was the Kahn starfleet uniforms and maybe the open versions of the other ones. I know its a long shot but I dont supose any of the other days of this aniversary giveaway will be more uniforms? Im gratefull for the pheonix boxes and the dilithium but i am still so anoyed that i missed day 1. It would be nice if anyone did miss one of the days that you could still claim them throughout this giveaway week.
200 marks this time. I don't think they should bother with 8 days next time.
yeah they do seem to be using a lot of odd filler. which I don't know why since they shouldn't need to do that there are more then enough little token things to cover the time... they didn't fire the one person who know how to do it again did they? :P
really just whatever uniform and/or ship they plan on giving away for a weekend would cover the parts anyone cares about.

I get 50 marks per character just by doing a 5 minute Red Alert. I've still got spare Marks boxes from Endeavors. Maybe something like 32,000 dil worth of rep vouchers? I think that is the price of one of the rep engines/shields/deflectors. New Reputations come out regularly, so having the dil for 1 item of the new set seems like a nice benefit. Just some feedback for next year.

200 marks is not "generous." It's 2,000 dilithium-equivalent, barely the reward of one 60-second CCA. That kind of login bonus lots of other games run every day permanently.
The 10k dil was at least refined (or so they say, I didn't have time to log in to check).
200 marks is just shy of a weeks worth or daily rep tasks for an alt that needs them or can be exchanged for a couple of rep tokens.
Might not be much when compared to some STF's but miles faster than trying to get competetive marks the "proper" way rather than RA's. Looking forward to this for sure on ps4 once they eventually decide to arrive since those queues are dead and there's no RA's to be abused.
The 200 marks per account is definitely lackluster similar to the 10K refined dilithium, but it is free.
I could understand the limitation of 10K being per account yesterday, but the 200 marks per account is hilarious, but again it is free & takes minimal time to acquire.
So Cryptic has given 4 costumes, 5 Phoenix packs, 10K dilithium, & these 200 marks all free ... so far.
Only the initial day impressed me while the others imo have been half a** offerings, but this year Cryptic has spread it out over more days, most of these offerings, so far, are resources that can be used by all no matter what.
Give the world's population a dollar each or give one individual 7.6b dollars?

Cryptic giving away anything is generous. They don't have to do it at all. If it doesn't benefit you, just move on. It's not a big deal.
It's not "generous". This is not a charity but a promotion. I personally find it weird to project gratitude onto a company but that might be just me. But of course the people saying to not look into the gift horse's mouth are right, it doesn't matter and nothing is taken from you. Just be happy about it

Is that how it usually works? This is my first anniversary event.
You do have to have a character of the appropriate level and faction to claim them though.
Being 8 days this time around I'm wondering if there won't be a second free ship, either unpopular t6 or one tied to event or episode.
Or if they did a second ship then bringing back one of the removed t5's like the narcine.
Perhaps a race unlock or cstore boff token, race would be pretty unlikely I think.
Even account locked keys aren't out of the question, they certainly exist
