So are T5 to T6 upgrades no longer going to be happening? This is the second Infinity run that hasn't had one and was one of the few things I actually looked forward to.
Good question, there's still the Undine: Nicor & Dromias, & Hirogen: Apex & Hunter stuck at T5.
Any others I'm forgetting that haven't been upgraded yet to another version of T6?
The Ferengi D'Kora Marauder, the Voth Bastion Flight-Deck Cruiser, the Tholian Orb Weaver, and (the ones I really want) the Temporal Science vessel's for all 3 factions. There's also the respective Lobi ships that would also gain a T6 version.
That's at least 8 more Infinity Box updates. Not to mention the fact that any ships from Lockboxes and the Lobi store that have T6 versions and don't have an Experimental weapon when they have the slot, like the Elachi S'ateth Escort and Mandukar Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer, should really be retroactively given one even if it's just reused art assets with new effects. Another Elachi banana cannon with an actual neat effect? Please?

There is a T6 D'Kora in game its just the devs handled it extremely badly and upset a lot of players with how they put it out.
I can't help but wish there were more T5 to T6 conversions happening too. I also would be very interested in a Tier 6 Temporal Science ship.
Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you. Don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there... you can make a difference.

I don't count that one because it was not like any other "promo" ship. The others you can either still purchase for EC on the exchange like the DOFF or R&D promos, or they're like the Sovereign promo where you can still get a T6 version just the specific seating is different for the promo version. If they released a non Latinum plated version then that would solve the issue but as it stands, no we're still missing a perm T6 D'Kora.

I don't blame you, it would be nice to have better access to the Nagus. But I'm afraid he's probably right. If you compare the stats between the two, the Nagus is obviously a Tier 6 upgrade to the D'kora, following every established upgrade pattern.
It stinks, though.

And that doesn't strike anyone else as a problem? The fact that people just accept that instead of trying to get the devs to release more things that would make them more money overall boggles my mind. So what if two ships have the same BOFF layout? Is the game going to stop working because of that? No. Would it give people more options to use what they like the look of? Yes. Are the "casuals" more willing to spend money if they can use a ship they like? Also yes because that's how it works in every other ftp game. Cosmetics are king. At this point the fact that people parrot off "some ships won't happen because it might use the same BOFF layout" makes me more inclined NOT to spend money. Why would I when I'll never get the true "end game" version of my favorite ship? The same exact type of thinking that makes me inclined NOT to spend money if they just flat out stop releasing T5 to T6 upgrades before all of them are done because some of mine are in that lot.
Having overlap is not going to kill the game. If that's the reason why we're not seeing the final bunch of upgrades the devs need to reconsider.

The devs seem to be making a lot of choices recently that only seem to be aimed at driving players way from the game. From the poor way some ships are released to the terrible new PvE UI, among all the other poor changes. Lock boxes are one of the few things I think the devs got right but the T6 D'Kora has been very badly handled.
It's a shame that when the t6 variants arrive the t5's get removed from the infinity box.
For me that has made infinity boxes much less attractive and they've been the only box that I will actually consider opening due to how much junk is use to pad out the regulars.
Does have a positive effect that I'm spending less zen (stipend) on keys now though

I want that since the first T6 upgrade
