Azure Endeavor

Rescue 7 ships in Azure nebula. Went into an advanced match with a friend, doing the one aggroes, one scans routine. During the game my friend adviced me to shoot on things, too, to not get an afk penalty, so I shot on everything I could reach from there on. Problem was, after 4 ships rescued nothing else spawned until the first optional failed. Then 2 more ships spawned, making it 6 ships to be rescued during the whole match, because there were no more spawns until the end. And then, to add insult to injury, I got an afk penalty...
I was planning to play that toon for the evening, getting some marks, work on unfinished reputations. But this Azure run killed any motivation to play.
I really enjoy the game for the most part, and I'm patient with many of the bugs. But things like the above described, where you get punished although you did nothing wrong anger me more than "n00bs" anger Tso'Bak. Consider me pissed.

    It's against the ToS to name n shame. It might be advisable for the OP to edit the OP.

    Although I can understand your frustration. I've been AFK-punished a few times myself, undeservedly. Rather than complain I just played on and did other things.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    seems only the advanced queue is bugged, worked for me on normal just fine.

    Pugged Azure Nebula earlier today with no issues. Got fourteen ships freed. Accomplished both Optionals with time to spare. First time I'd ever seen a Pancake Ship(Ent J) anywhere other than over ESD or K7 or DS9. And these puggers were GOOD! I'm tying up the Tholians and a guy in a Mogai goes right past me to begin disabling Tractors. The Pancake aggro'd a Tarantula and someone in a Nova started helping him. Chat Window immediately lit up with, "I got this, thnx! Pls do trctrbms." The reply was, "K. On it."

    It's been a very long time since I've been in a pug filled up with good players. And doubtless will be a very long time again. I'm just grateful I didn't hold them back too badly or was too heavy to carry.

    I did it Friday on normal, and we only saw 7 ships the entire match. We spent most of the time flying around looking for something to shoot.

    I did the missions last night on normal.

    Did it the "old fashion" way by hiding behind the asteroid to free the ships. Got both optionals.

    This mission is pretty flawed in a lot of ways. The optionals are completely dependent on the spawns and at times stuff just doesn't spawn at all.

    I did it on normal and although we didn't get the optional, I could complete the Endeavour.

    Did they finally fix the weird enemy scaling in Advanced btw? Enemies were ten levels below the players for a long time and I haven't checked if it was ever corrected.
