Meh. I'm not sycophantic or waving the pom-poms. If I want to use a transforming ship, I'll bring out my Peghqu' or Duvqu' destroyer or the Daeinos/Dinaes. If I want to feel like i'm flying a dogfighter, I'll swap to fed faction and bring the Kumari ships out. Hybrid tactical consoles? Pretty much the only ones that matter any, really, would be the +polaron ones. Appearance-wise? Not terribly impressive. For KDF, I'd take the Suqob or Pujaq raptors or the Duvqu' for looks. For Romulan Republic, the Ar'kif, Ar'kala, Jhu'ael, or Dinaes, again, for looks.
IF they revisited the Dyson sphere content, or added some new developments for the stories/episodes, it might give a reason to make a T6 version of the Dyson ships. But until then, most likely will not happen. We would have better odds of seeing a Voth Citadel(scaled to be the same size as a Tarantula) show up for players. Do the pleas by fans of the Dyson ships drown out or trump the requests for a T6 Nova, T6 Vor'cha, or a better T6 D7? So far, not yet.

All decent ships I have most of them. I am also a lifetime sub so I do have those as well. Still I have more fun in my Dyson warbird.

Believe me. I'm not trying to take your fun away. I'm testing out the protonic polaron stuff in a new build on one of my accounts as well. But they would have to most likely overhaul the reputation stuff as well. And make a return to the Solenae Dyson sphere stuff, to pump out a T6 of 9-10 ships.

Just wanted to point out it was stated a Dyson sphere was located in the gamma quadrant so...?

If your talking the Protonic Polaron from the Rep..There ok..But they have suffered the same as other procs..They all went per cycle vs per shot..
The Dyson Science Consoles...A bit more fun..
Cons
Up to -17.5 points per console @ Epic
Not affected by All damage boosts like APA (so Tacs arent better with them)
They Dont Crit.
They are a resistible energy type.
Pros..
They do Hilarious Damage to VOTH ships (Core Assault Elite or CPVE Mission and the Dyson Space zone)
They seem to work best in sci ships..
Engineers seem to have an advantage with these due to their innate subsystem scaling abilities.

I've also had the sci consoles do hilarious damage versus other targets, including in PvP. You wake up your opponent real fast when you see them eat a 5 digit proc straight to the hull. And I was using 3 consoles at the time, in the Gorkon. I know it does not proc off FBP, but are you sure that abilities such as GDF, APA, APO, Tactical Fleet, and other spike steroids don't affect the shield refrequencer console? And I've been hit by a 5 digit proc as well. I do know that it's boosted by EPG as well.

Yup..All damage buffs do not affect this console..Anything that causes your aux power to go up will increase the damage these do (outside EPG points).Tis why I feel (and have higher parses with this console from) Engineers make these consoles Nasty without trying..
Ive used them in PVP (I run max of 4 @ 400 EPG and 100 aux with 7 or 8 abilities to proc them)..But I will say the Expert PVPers shrug most of this damage off at full health (gotta catch them after someone has subnuked off their Zahl and are at low health but ymmv). I have found some fun things that ALSO proc these consoles..Not sure if they are WAI but its fun none the less..

Yknow, I think you're right. I've had this happen before.

So..Just resting at just under 100 aux and 400 epg im somewhere around 25k per proc..Ive seen it hit for higher but thats usually due to stacking debuffs or my target was VOTH :P..
So the proc seem to attach itself to abilities like Subspace vortex, the Particle cloud from The PeP torp, and the Epg Radiation Burst from the Aceton assimialtors. My parser reads these as "different" from say the Pep could without the Protonic enhancement..Granted not all of these hit as hard as the Consoles themselves..But its interesting to see...Basically..If you Have an EPG boosted console ability say..Isometric Charge..You'll probably see the protonic proc when you equip it an do a mouse over.

@ 400EPG and 90 aux My mouse over on my exotics has that proc at 21.7k..30.7k @ 400EPG & 125 Aux

Update the proton weapons and let the fun begin.
My character Tsin'xing

So you are saying try it with an engineer in a science ship or an engineer ship?
Engineer toon..

Thanks I will try that.

Oooh, I wanna know...

> So..Just resting at just under 100 aux and 400 epg im somewhere around 25k per proc..Ive seen it hit for higher but thats usually due to stacking debuffs or my target was VOTH :P..

Also, @memnoch. slim down the quote thing. clip some of that quote bloat.
Lol
@ichaerus1 All damage buffs do NOT[ affect the Dyson Shield Refrequencer console..Nor does stuff thats +% to Exotic Damage
Anything that causes your aux power to go up will increase the damage these do (Or moar EPG points).Tis why I feel (and have higher parses with this console from) Engineers make these consoles Nasty without trying..
@ 400EPG and 90 aux My mouse over on my exotics has that proc at 21.7k..30.7k @ 400EPG & 125 Aux
