New Dyson ships please.

I love flying these. I have over 50 ships most are t6 and I keep returning to these things. I want to buy more of them. I love the bridge I love the experiment proton weapon. I have seen a few threads lately with people liking them. Please update them.

Everything I read back in the day suggested that the Dyson ships were a huge flop sales wise and were overall poorly received by the player base. It seems unlikely to me that they would commit time and resources toward repeating the same mistake twice.
In the end, I hope everyone that plays STO gets the ship they want. If you want it, I hope you get it.. but I will say I agree with Napalm that the T6 Vor'cha has to be next. It's absolutely ridiculous that one of the most popular and well known canon Klingon ships still doesn't have a T6 variant.
No offense, but that feels like a rather lousy reason to begrudge others their desired ship.
I cared for the Dyson ships. Cr*ppy boff layout, too weak, soldered-in cannon was a bust, and what not. But it was Proton, and I loved it.
The Romulan Dyson Destroyers are among the most beautiful ships in the Romulan fleet.
There are KDF Dyson ships... which means you basically shot down an opportunity for the KDF to get new ships. Science ships even. Well done.
I've never used them much, and that was mainly because the weapon could not be removed or improved + the fact that little effort was put into making proton weaponry more attractive.
A Dyson version of an Undine ship would make sense, given their presence in the Sphere. But it seems that only the good guys are able to reverse engineer and adapt advanced technology

However... if used as only a destroyer or science ship... they weren't TOO bad of an option. Especially for Science starved KDF and Romulans. Any T6 treatment could address these issues and add some well deserved Science to KDF and Romulans.

yeah your talking fused cannons up front and fused 360 beam in rear... that will leave you with 3 front and 1 rear weapon slots you can play with.

Sure they're not the best ships... but they ARE science ships. Some of the FEW high tier options KDF and Romulans have.

I'd be more enthusiastic about T6 Dysons if Cryptic hadn't set a precedent with the flagship and multi-mission ship packs (and maybe one or two others). 9 Dysons are a bit more than I'm willing to buy and I really would like to own one ship for each faction if I get any at all.
Now, i don't use them that much actually, but i'm not sorry that i got them.
The mode toggle gimmick is nice... the only other ships that i saw using something like that are the veteran ships and the Ferengi ships with consoles sets (i think, though they are not switching weapons or BOFFs). The fused proton cannons i think should be changed to normal weapon slot, that would only work in tactical mode. Add to it some new (or old, but upgraded) consoles, and a T6 versions could be powerfull ships (and maybe add heavy weapon slots that also work only in tac mode?).

Anyway, if Zen Store would get a T6 versions of Dyson Sci-Destroyers, it would be must-have for me...
I still have all Protonic gear/sets (at Epic) from the days of lore. This could be interesting. I don't think a T6 Dyson will have room for a Heavy Proton Charge Weapon, though.
Yes, they are only T5(U) which means they are not in the absolute top, but even my freebie DSD is not very far away from my T5U Vestas.

(And protonic polaron isn't the worst thing against 'high-tech' enemies with lots of shield and low hull)
