"The Undying" Temporal Probe Refuses to be Claimed [Solved]

I've ran the mission, unlocked the probe, watched the cutscene and completed the mission twice and the probe hasn't been claimed either time. Is there something I'm not doing or do I need to access the probe twice or... what? I'm going to run it again and spam it to see if anything changes, but that I've done this twice now is a bother.

Append: Well, I figured it out. You do have to mess with the probe twice if you watch the cutscene. The quest tracker makes it seem like you claimed the probe when in fact you haven't.
