server not responding

i have been getting the message "server not responding" while in game. and sometimes i get logged out with the message "connection to server timed out". this started around 8AM 6/13 and is still happening. is anyone else getting this message??? any idea whats going on or how to fix it on my end??? everything else i do that is not on STO seems to be running fine from streaming movies to web browsing.

I am having this issue also. Started this morning 6/14. Dont seem to be having other net issues either.

I have been having the same issue as well, although its been going on for me for a few weeks, since about halfway through the mirror event. It also has been taking me about 5 minutes to initially log into the game when it used to take about a minute or so, and when I do log in it goes to the sign on screen for me to resign on with the reasoning "account ticket authentication failed". Then I resign on and im in. Until i get many "server not responding"s. I also have no connection issues and no issues with any other programs.

problem resolved, i think.
it seems that i needed to fully reset my modem. but with the system i have just turning it off and on, or hitting the reset button in the back doesn't work. instead i had to unplug the power supply from the modem, then restart it for it to fully reset.

I did the modem reset and was optimistic as I stayed in the game for almost 45 minutes until the "connection to server timed out" cam back with a vengeance, occurring every few minutes.

iv been having the same problem with disconnects as well since the last server update, as well as every now and then the game freezes and i get a message saying game client has stopped responding only thing i can do is ctrl TRIBBLE esc and close the game exe then restart the game, its starting to get extremely annoying esp when it happens when im in the middle of an elite pve

I'm having the same problem. It says connection to server timed out but it happens instantly, without a connection problem. Its been happening since I started playing the game weeks ago and has been getting worse. It sometimes disconnects several times an hour and now disconnects during episodes making the game unplayable. It may be a time to live problem with the packets.
