I was having some trouble with my mouse and decided to disable the mouse 3 key. I went to option and changed the key assignment to esc, which I realized was an error. I clicked on cancel to cancel out my actions and begin again. It canceled the interaction and closed the window after COMMITTING THE CHANGE. That is unacceptable.
When you cancel an action, it should NEVER commit the action and then cancel the interaction with the user. That is just sloppy programming. Please fix this.
